As much as we might hate to admit it, most of us will buy ME3 no matter what. However...

I will be getting ME3 because i love the series that much, plus i know the team making it isnt the same one that made DA2. I will say for DA2, I did like its story but it doesnt have good replay-ability to it. The game only has like 5-8 different maps, the guidebook proves this too. So beside what DA2 turned out to be, all the other Bioware titles ive played have been great.

Nope, sorry. If ME3 has a multiplayer element of any kind (co-op or not) I will not be purchasing it. That is set in stone.

Anything else is tolerable.

I've endured too many cutscenes and dialogue to be denied my war with the Reapers now. I will however pray that its available through Steam so I can opt out of this Origin garbage.

Keep praying although I doubt you'll get a satisfying answer. ME3 will most likely not be available on Steam.

I would still buy ME3 but my faith in BioWare, as well as their believability, will be severly damaged. If after all this denial of ME3 multiplayer rumors, they still manage to put it in, I don't have any words to express my feelings at that point. Well I do have some words but I won't be using those on these forums:pinched:

I have realized long ago that this is just a game. I will treat it as such, ME is not a politic movement or religion. People should loosing up a little and not take it so serious. THat is why I really enjoyd DA2, I consider it as one of the best game I have played like with all other BIOWARE game. If it has a good story and the gameplay is good I don't mind the rest. The rest is just gimmick for gimmick people. I'm a gamer.

Here is one customer Bioware actually lost. I own everything from BG2 to Me1 but luckily I had the chance to play a borrowed copy of ME2 before buying it and after that I promised myself I would never play for another Bioware game before testing it. Me1 was -very- short but it played like a interactive movie and a RPG. ME2 gave me the feeling I was playing a action game and those don't interest me at all.

Still keeping my eyes on ME3 though in case they manage to push it back in the right direction.

I will buy this "classic High Octane Alien Invasion Adventure" If the CE ever comes to the Netherlands.
Saying that you won't or threatening BW with not buying a copy is just called Silly.. silly on it's best day.

Owh I should also add that if ME3 is more like ME2 but manage not to make the situation worse -and- add Co-op I probably buy it just for that alone.Otherwise I stick to my plans of playing SWTOR for a few years. :)

I want to pre-order it, but I'm waiting to see if the N7 edition gets sold somewhere other than Game in the UK - as much as I'd like the N7 I'm not paying £80 for it when I can pre-order the standard version for less than £40.

I hate leaving a story unfinished, particularly a story I've enjoyed as much as the Mass Effect story. ME1 and ME2 are two of my favourite games and everything I've heard about ME3 is making it look better than either of the first two.

Yep, I'm gonna buy it. Got my Collector's Edition already preordered. I plan on doing nothing that week except class, work, and ME3. Maybe cut out the class part. Depends. haha

But in all seriousness, I am buying this game. No matter what. I will be completely incommunicado for about 1-2 weeks after ME3 comes out. I'm going to stock up on junk food and energy drinks, buy a new gaming chair, and plant myself in front of my TV and grow roots.

Actually it's the most expressive way you have of registering your discontent. The main goal of EA Games (and BioWare) is to make as much money as possible. By denying them even the smallest amount of income (and all potential future income from DLC and such), you're sending a message to the company: 'I don't like [feature] and I won't pay you for it.'

Don't get your hopes up. In fact, just don't even bother hoping in the first place. EA is getting set to slug it out with Valve over the online distribution set, and I hope they get the snot beaten out of them.

ME3 damn well better be on Steam.

I have the ME1 and 2 on Steam, and having the third elsewhere would make my OCD scream.

How about everyone stop questioning each other and dwelling into unnecessary things and just get the damn game?

If I have the excess cash I'll get the game, but at this point I'm not planning to pre-order it anymore. It's going to be fun I'm sure, and I want to see how it ends.

Nope, if Shep have to die no matter what you do at the end, i won't buy it, i already avoided / stoped other story (comics, anime, only because of that, exept storys when it's clear from the begining that the hero / characters will die) because of that, ME will be no exeption.

I dont need to buy TOR...as a long time KOTOR fan Drew is delivering our KOTOR 3 to us in the form of Star Wars The Old Republic: Revan novel coming out in November. The story of Reven is finally finished, and Canderous, Bastilla, The Exile and many others make an appearence....the story finally ends for me with that book....TOR can crash and burn lol.

I think it's a childish, you are going to play it anyway. You should be happy there are platforms were you can air your discontent pre-release. Constructive criticism is comes a whole lot further then threatening not buy. Wich is like stomping on the floor yelling "I want/do not want this or i wont buy it!". So like i said.. silly

At some point? Sure.

At launch? Depends on our actions actually having actual consequences this time or not, which I'll leave to the Cerbies on here to judge.

Aside from that, the release date itself isn't that ideal either; only just before the summer hits, which means it'll be on sale in no time...

Haven't seen anything to discourage me not buying it instantly, OP.

Just saying you dont have to sell it to us.... you got us.... hook, line, and sink her. You guys could save a crap ton of money if you just said.... "ME3 is comming out 3 - 6 - 12, but in order to save money we wont be making advertisements or trailers." We would still buy it.

With "you guys" being people not associated to EA and moderating for free, I assume.

If I were to decide I'm not buying Mass Effect 3, I'd have no problem not buying it. Discipline and impulse control are not difficult to manage. That said, I've already committed to seeing how this thing turns out long ago, so I'm getting ME3 even though I thought ME2 was worse than DA2, which wasn't actually as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Pretty much.

I'm really not as hyped to play ME3 as I was for ME2 before that came out. Though it will still be a day 1 purchase for me. It's still a great series I want to see to its conclusion. Bioware's recent titles have me worried though. Even I thought DA2 was better than ME2.
