I really love how Bioware nurtures the community around their games.
I hope these will be used for Swtor too

I can see the social site becoming the home of future Bioware/EA products like Mass Effect and whatever the secretive "new next gen game" is, though.
And the SWToR forum can get its own custom avatars or whatever.

The tab on the left of our screens, with the 'Games' pulldown menu that shows a list of games/systems, is the biggest hint, to me, that some kind of merger is inevitable. Besides, I hardly think BioWare went through all this trouble to develop such a social site only to make it a 'speshul haven' for Dragon Age people.

I am inclined to agree somewhat. I think there are a lot of people who will like both games, but a significant portion of the DAO audience is thrilled about the Single Player RPG aspect of it and are somewhat resentful about the notion of RPG games going MMORPG. I would hate for that to be percieved as hostility towards MMORPG players.Maria Caliban wrote...
IPlease no SWTOR here. The community on that site is very different.
We should all have the chance to be among people of similar interests but a MMORPG meets SPRPG community seems to me like a ...well battlefield.

I want my old portrait back! Also I don't really know what I'm doing here, since I've already mentioned in OT that I'm not very social.
I couldn't figure out how to quote 2 people....*SIGH*.... I wanted to tell Deviija that her avatar is HOT!

MMO forums means more people, more people means more crazies, more trolls, and less friendly atmosphere. Its nothing against MMO, its just how it happens (I'm a MMO player myself).
But on the avatars, I really hope they gear up as you gear the character up
Edit: quote fail

It would be nice if you could link the two accounts to each other, though, so there's at least some information available in your profile about who you are and what you have in the other community.
