Honestly, it seems a bit late into the game's development to have just started integrating one, but then again, there's still six whole months.

I think by "just invented," they mean she's new for ME3, not that they just made her up.

I'd say vigilante, but if they say they just invented her.... hmm... may or may not be an LI, actually may not even be a full squadmate, heck could be a cameo character like Shiala or Giana Parasini. could be anything, considering that practically every character in MEverse got a support thread one time or another.
