I demand Dragon Age 2's Athenril but in Space! (also, Lesbionicized her).

The new character will be called Cammy.
Cammy will be a hardass angsty soldier with a buzzcut who is secretly the female clone of the Illusive Man who would transfer his mind into her just in case he died. This happens in the game and we have to fight TIM inside Cammy's mind.

If this squadmate will be another human, she will take a trip through the airlock Image IPB. Im sick and tired of having humans. I defienetly support Turian female though.

It's frankly disturbing how many people are willing - even eager - to kill squadmates who want to be your allies. Wat.

Ready my post agian. I am just sick of having humans, Vega is already enough. Either way we don't even know if this will be squadmate in the first place.

I think she's salarian equivalent of Matriarch Aethyta - lady who decided to abandon politics and do some actual fighting. Since Garrus is returning if alive and Mordin is likely cameo'ed.

Me too.  ...I feel like I should be ashamed, but I'm not.

I wouldn't go as far as the airlock if the possible new squad mate was human.  I would be a little disappointed though.

It isn't really a big deal I suppose but I'd kind of prefer she be some kind of alien. Not that I have anything against  human suqadmates, but it feels like there are so many already revealed to be in the team so far in this game thus far.

Humans are my favorite race (yeah, I get called boring often) but any further permanent human squadmates ought to be taken from the roster of previous allies instead of made from-scratch at this point in the story. I'm OK with Vega but no more, please!

Would be totally awesome if it was a female turian. Not really interested if it's another human or asari.

Granted, we have Liara, so another biotic would be a little.. redundant. But isn't is possible that it's that woman from the novels? The autistic biotic which Cerberus launched an attack or w/e on the Flotilla to retrieve? I've forgotten her name.

Hopefully we'll get to see her in ME3 in some capacity.

My money is still on a female human squaddie. This has been the pattern since ME1: you start out with two brand new human squadmates, one male and the other is female. For ME1, we had Kaidan and Ashley (in that order); for ME2, we had Jacob and Miranda (also in that order), so I'm guessing ME3 will give you James Vega and this unidentified "invention" within the first 30 minutes of it.

You mean Gillian Grayson. She'll be starring in the fourth Mass Effect novel, actually. I wouldn't exactly say she's a 'woman' though -- she'll still be a minor by the time the game's events commence. I can't speak for others but both my personal canon Shepards would have strong reservations of sending a sixteen-year-old girl onto the field of death even in the midst of a war for survival.

^ That, and the calls to romance her would be disturbing.

I think she's closer to fourteen or fifteen, as well. Also highly autistic. Also an emotional wreck after the death of her father.

Yeah, even worse all-around. Good points through and through.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gillian in-game, I mean, that'd be pretty cool. But I'd want her safe and secure, not anywhere near the front lines.

Gillian should be 16 by ME3, so Jeff is correct.

Ah, well either way, really. Honestly, I can't even imagine myself feeling compelled to ever play the kin of Shepard who would gladly use someone that young and that frail to fight a war.

I'm tellin' you, someone needs to make a forum alt by the name of FemaleTurianLesbian and start a support thread. Maybe it will get Bioware's attention and they'll realize what their series has been missing all this time. If nothing else it'd be good for a laugh.

Kelly's twin sister, Selly.

She's tired of people accusing her sister of having scale itch and she's out to make them pay.

That looks more like a turian 10 year old.

Can't wait to see how lexicon changes after ME3. "Man, next playthrough, (followername) is getting Kahje'd so hard..."

Man, next playthrough, Unannounced Character is getting Kahje'd so hard. I suppose that means the squad will be on a boat and Shepard will push her and let her be eaten alive slowly by hungry feral hanar.
