Think Samara and Morinth should've been separate options though, seeing as they have quite distinct personalities, motivations, etc. Had to rate Morinth a five because I really like Samara.

Took it, but really, Samara & Morinth should be separated in the survey.
Also, I'd consider divy-ing up the character rating section into "ME1 SQUADDIES" & "ME2 SQUADDIES", if anything so we can list Liara, Garrus, & Tali twice. All three characters undergo serious changes from ME1 to ME2 and I think merit different ratings for both games.
In ME1, Garrus & Tali were cooool, but were victims to exposition on their respective races/groups. Compared to Ashley, Wrex, & Liara, their characters were a little stale. In ME2, though, Garrus & Tali really shone and are arguably the most interesting characters in your squad.

Some surprising results. The FemShep thing surprised me. I thought it would be much lower. And of course the number of Shepards that saved Kaidan runs pretty parallel to the MShep/FemShep %. But that, too, surprised me.

It's a shame that all of the romance options get knocked down a fair bit because of people wanting theirs to come out on top, while not minding giving their real thoughts on the "Bro" characters.
Just look at the top three. Wrex, Mordin & Legion. If Wrex was Wrexable, I'm sure he'd be around the 3.5 mark.

the major problem I had with this poll is that it didn't give an opportunity for someone like me,who had multiple playthroughs to add their 2 cents. percentages would technically remain the same, but the numbers would be slightly different.
also - BSN is not representative of fanbase at large. its a representative of the more hardcore fans.
the results are interesting though, I have to say I was surprised that Liara didn't get larger number of romances... or Garrus.
