Yes. It means Path of Purity.

If such a thing as a soul exists, I one clear sign of possessing one would be the capability to love, which Shepard still appears to possess.

A lot of people these days aren´t religious, yet they still choose to believe in metaphysical concepts like the soul. Anyway, for the people that believe in souls, if shepard was souless he/she would have noticed it, traditionally there are seriously bad side effects of not having your soul. For the people who don´t believe in souls, then there is no problem to start with.

No. The vast majortity of people now are religious, which has always been the case. And the vast majority choose not to use basic logic to determine issues like this. They go with the warm and fuzzy feelings.

Hmm. Balancing the two (paragon/renegade) is a better than going all out on one side of spectrum no? Personally I find being a paragade harder to achieve then the other two, makes loyalty missions more difficult in my opinion.

You can find our resident gnome in the back our garden, He's a pretty lonely chap could use some company. lol

Shepard is Jesus. Your argument is invalid.

So you bail when you don't have an argument. Fair enough.

Not gonna comment on the possibility of Shepard having a soul. Just gonna say: might have been an interesting topic of discussion to have with some of the squad. A variety of opinions could have been shown.

This would have been awesome

Oh no, I was agreeing with you. There is a vast majority of people who are very religious. I was just pointing out the part of the vast majority who chose not to use basic logic to detemine an issue like this.

I'm gonna say its what you believe :)

I personally RP my Shep as one who did go to heaven, but once revived had her memories of that wiped from her mind

In the Gospels, Lazarus makes only a brief appearance.

In the Apocrypha, however, there are tales of Lazarus traveling all over the Roman Empire in his stealth trireme, the "Zama", recruiting a team of Iron Age super commandos, including: a grizzled Roman Legion veteran turned mercenary, a Briton druidic priestess, a Greek doctor/inventor, a Germanic berserker, one of Ptolemy's infamous female spies, and a warrior/rabbi with a secret past.

Together they traveled the ancient world, fighting crime, righting wrongs and (surprisingly) meeting many of the same people over and over again. All the while fighting to prevent the return of the ancient Mesopotamian gods of death and destruction.

And if you disagree, find us ones shred of evidence proving that they do.

Comatose. The body has functionality, individual is not "alive."

(And that's what makes Lazarus impossible. Once the soul is departed, it can't be restored. No amount of scientific advances will change that)

No kudos for this? :(

I don't recall you holding a grude against me. Where can I put you on the list of people who do and under what category? I got to keep this all organized you see.

We as humans are pretty arrogant to believe that we have souls. Does a cockroach have a soul? does your hamster have a soul? is your hamster religious? baah... do polygons and pixels have souls? do ingame chracters have souls? I think OP is overthinking things too much.
