So I'm doing a MCousland. I want the outcome where I marry anora, and Alister stays in my party. the first time I had Alister duel Loghain killing logain and arbitrated the marriage and Anora. The problem is the codex reads that I disposed of Anora and later on Alister gave the speech at the battle of denerim.
Latter on I have my Cousland do the duel and had Alister Kill Loghain and then the same arbitraton. The same thing happened. Is there any way to work around this so Alister stays and my party and I become king?
Landsmeet glitch?

Not on the xbox 360 version-it's a known bug. If Alistair survives, it will show him as King. You'll have to kill Alistair for it to show Anora as Queen.

I got a separate game where I had Loghain running around with Alister alive is this the same deal?

Could well be. Mike touched on the bug affecting those save games, and I think it's usually phrased as any ending where Alistair survives and is not made king. As such I expect that save to be affected as well unfortunately.

That is quite unfortunate. I wanted to bring a DAO game into DA2 with Alister as a warden.

Is there a way to bring him over as a warden then?

Import questions are probably best asked over on the DA2 boards; I'd help you if I could but I have DA2 for the PC.
