Should Bioware change the Sentinel's heavy melee before it is too late?

You can always stop playing Mass Effect and move on from being so butthurt. The Spamming Troll wrote...
your gun disappearing during the melee is no dumber then biotics not working through protections. ME2 is filled with dumb, if youve forgetten. im sure ME3 wont be much different in that department.
someone going to post that "deal with it" picture?

QFT. For all the hate ME2 gets, you sure spend alot of time hanging around BioWare's boards. And you're going to end up buying ME3. I will never understand some people.

I think it is dumber. I was no fan of the protections lore wise and mechanically, but it never LOOKED so awful. And since I am a fan of biotics, flashiness matters

Part that really bothers me is where the gun goes during the attack. That'll annoy the hell out of me if not explained/changed.

No, but this is completely unrelated to the topic at hand. There are threads addressing enemy protections already, as you are well aware. You don't usually live up to your name, Troll. You're better than this.

A Sub-Zero-like Freeze/Shatter Combo
This would be much more suiting of the Sentinel class. Personally I'm not a fan of the twin stabby-stabby.

Isn't a much simpler solution simply to use the left hand? The omnitool *was* on the left anyway. Don't know why they had to change that. Biotics not working through protections? What cover? Jack would disagree with you.Someone With Mass wrote...

1. Omni-blast. The omni-tool issues a concentrated blast wave. A more powerful and localized effect than when the assault armor explodes. This melee is a logical offshoot of the tech armor. A power that is already built into the sentinel class. This attack is only focused on a single enemy and has no area of effect ability.
2. I love the warp blade idea. It could work with the warp bomb animation when this melee attack is used. Totally disintegrating the enemy if their defenses are low enough.
3. Cryo-blade. I love to see this blade work just like Engineers incineration melee but snap freezing and shattering the enemy apart.
All of these should be a single blade attack. Any of these would be preferable to the double-bladed jab.

Sentinel should get a Warp Blade.
Yeah I was wondering if nobody paid attention to what a Dark Templar has...
But seriously, he has the spell Warp... why not a biotic blade called a "Warp Blade". Bonus to armor and barriers and detonates biotic effects...
This right here.
