This may sound a bit cheesy, but 'Shepard is a hero. A bloody icon'. It is true. Not just in the game but in real life. We should all take examples from him. Unless he is renegade.

We get it, you think tattoos are a bad idea. So why are you still in this convo? I don't know what happened to you and why you think you will be the pariah of social society if someone gets a video game tattoo, but that kind of depends on where you're at and how much you let it get to you. I only have two tattoos right now and plan on getting more. One is in tribute to a dead friend and the other is the Spectre emblem right on my forearm where everyone can see anytime I have short sleeves on. My parents rolled their eyes, but they're not going to do more than that. They're my parents, we have different opinions, on things, but after over 25 years of knowing each other, they're opinion of me isn't going to change because of that and they still love me. My friends either think it's cool or they don't care. To anybody else.....it's a tattoo....people have them. To those that ask, I proudly say it's a Mass Effect symbol. Either people think it's cool, they have no idea what I'm talking about and don't really care, or, yes, some think I'm weird. But, you know what? If someone thinks I'm weird because I have a video game tattoo.....then they're kind of a judgmental d**k and I don't really care to get to know them any farther anyway.

People do different things.....it's a personal preference choice. If you are sensitive to the opinions of people that don't know you, then yes, don't get a tattoo. But that's in general.....who cares if it's from a video game....or a comic.....or a band.....or a tribute to a friend....or just a piece of art you liked. Some people like those things...some people don't.

Edit:  Btw, here's my tattoo.  Figured I'd share.  :happy:

Spectres logo. Not anything I feel strongly about, but the tattoo on itself looks pretty good.
