Don't.

Turn your penis into the Normandy instead.

this, then you tell your li you're looking for a place to dock

Pants on=Stealth systems on. When you're with a girl, pants off "I gotta eject my heatsink now" :P XD

I plan on getting a Cerberus logo on my car hood, to be honest lol. Either that, or the Alliance symbol with the Earth.

I did my gaming tattoo on my ankle (Boo from Super Mario Bros 3). I can cover him up with socks/pants when need be and they're easily accessible so if anyone asks to see, bam. Right there. And I've had this tattoo for about 5 years now and never have once regretted it. Boo's my little buddy and I plan on finishing him up soon. So I say go for the N7 tat! I plan on getting one myself a year or so after ME3 comes out. Gotta make sure I still adore the trilogy a while after so I don't regret it too bad! XP

The N7 logo isn't that recognizable to most people. Maybe to gamers, but at my school only a handful of people would have an idea what that means.

I can personally attest to this: I have worn N7 to class quite a few times but never really caught any geeky attention.

I wear a N7 wristband. Only 2 out of about a thousand people  in my school said anything about.

I write N7 on every single desk I sit at in college. I was sitting next to the guy who introduced me to ME a week or so ago, and I said, "Sorry, I have to do this." He looked at it, and I asked him if he knew where it was from. He said "yeah" and started laughing.

As for a tattoo...tattoos are dumb.

I've actually seen guys wearing Gears of War, Halo, Final Fantasy and whatnot at my university. So at least some of them are geeky enough to wear shirts of their favorite titles. I have not, however, seen any Mass Effect fans. At all. Poor souls are missing out!

HEY! I plan on getting a L'cie tattoo when I get my Cerberus, N7, Ouroboros and kanji tattoo. I already started saving the money.

Where are you getting them at? Tattoos are like plastering your car with stickers, except you can't trade in your body.

And hey, nice to see a FF XIII fan. If I were ever to get a tattoo, that would be an awesome one.

Haters gonna hate, OP. I think your tats look awesome, especially the chest piece.
I like tattoos that mean something to the person. If video games have had a big influence in your life, then, sure, go and get a video game inspired tattoo. Hell, if you just want to decorate your body for sh!ts and giggles, then who am I to judge what you do with your skin?

Back on topic, I think the forearm, back of the neck or somewhere on your chest would be a good placement.

Wouldn't be bad as an abdomen or side tattoo, since you said you don't have room on your chest. It would also look pretty dope on the upper chest, right below your collar bone. I think small and understated would be better than big, and maybe consider putting it inside a rectangle so it looks like a military badge.

Now that's dedication

Can't really blame him if you knew he had this before getting that one over it.

Seems like the guy is semi-active on here as well.

Wow that one of Shepard on that guys back, not a big fan of portraits but Omega looks spectacular.
OP, could go below the chest tatoo, would still fit.

Cheers guys, covering up was one of the motivating factors in my back piece along with my love of everything Mass Effect & the fact that these games helped me through a pretty rough patch (had 6 operations on my spine, spent a lot of time playing xbox).

EDIT: You can check out my progess here :) - http://social.biowar...07274/1#8395429
.........

To the OP, go for it dude, on the chest would be nice I think.

Why not get something like the Spectre, Alliance, Cerberus, Renegade, or Paragon symbols?

Role of thumb when it comes to tattoes: Do you think ten years from now you'll look at it and think you were an idiot? If ten years ago you tattoed mario on your but, how'd you feel now?

Actually, that guy makes a pretty decent amount of cash modeling that tattoo.  Not going to argue if I think it was a good idea or not, but the point still stands.

I don't understand all the people coming in here just to say "tattoos are stupid."  That is completely irrelevant to this conversation.  The question is "if i get this tattoo, where should it be", not "what's your personal opinions on tattoos because the opinions of people who have zero influence on my life matter to me".  People have tattoo.  People have HAD tattoos.  Millions of people right now have them.  They have had them for thousands of years.

You might think they look dumb.  The person next to you thinks they look awesome.  The next person doesn't care either way.  Some people think shorts, a polo, and sandles is a dumb look, but it's still popular.  To each their own.  Yes, tattoos are permanent, but they're not on you, so why does it matter to you so much that someone else does it?  Yes, people like you will look down on someone because they got a tattoo.  Well, I think that says more about you than it does about anyone else.

@Admiralcheez (minus the indigant nature of the previous paragraphes, the following comment is friendly.  :P)
Eh, I get that point about not wanting to come off like a billboard, but I think there is a fine line with that.  There is a difference, I think between adversting and showing your fandom.  Getting something from a movie, game, or band is more about showing your love for that particular "thing" rather than telling people "Hey, you should buy this!"  I have my spectre emblem, my best friend has Boris Karlaf from the Mummy.  We both love the things these things come from, but we're not trying to push it in anyone's face.  Now if someone got a tattoo of something like Tide detergant......well, they better be a  damn big fan of doing laundry......lol

Maybe it matters because we feel they'll regret it later, and we don't want them to have to go through ~whatever~ later because they made a choice today. We're not saying they have to follow what we say. We're just putting it out there. And to say that we'll look down on them is unnecessary assuming. Never assume.

Or simply scare the **** out of them by always glaring like you're about to murder someone. Worked for me.

I realize I'm replying to a day-old post, but I used to be this way all the time, just unintentional. My sister would ask me "why I looked like that." I'd ask her "Like what?" and she'd say I looked like I wanted to hurt somebody. Just my normal look I guess.

First of all, I can say what I want, so get used to that. And second, that lad on the picture does look stupid, so expect that reaction off "some" people. And how do you know that I haven't got a tattoo? Just because I said that I didn't like that specific tattoo doesn't mean I dislike them all.

I would advise you dont get it (I'm sure this thread has dozens of reasons why already said) but what the heck, it's your choice, your body, if it makes you happy go for it. But if you've really made your mind up about getting this surely you can make up your mind on where to put it, no? If you must have it, have it on your chest where it is on Shepards armor, would make more sense.
