No they weren't! When did I say that? They started to hunt her once she escaped seclution. AY wouldn't bne capable of such mass destruction, if everybody would know about their existance and could identify them.

Seclusion isn't a punishment you haven't disagreed with that. The purpose of seclusion is to keep AY safe from the public and the public safe from AY. It is in no way meant to be a punishment. It is to preven a rogue AY to kill which is wrong and or unjust. Conclusion Seclusion is right.

Love how you ignored this.

Unless of course Morinth does it.

Because when she seduces and mindrapemurders a young artist to death it's a brave stand against the system!!!!

I thought tha wasn't directed at me as an argument.

I don't know if it is a brave stand against the system YET. But I do know that it is a stand for survival.

So make a physical difference! I said that too many times. Make an AY tattoo on their foreheads, so that everyone know.

She chose freedom. Addiction is her way of survival. She is like any other asari, just not supposed to meld.

A tattoo is nothing; advanced reconstructive techniques exist in the ME universe, removing a tattoo is much easier than it would be today.   And given the amount of discrimination that's lashed out at normal pureblood Asari, being a branded AY in public sounds like a horrible, horrible decision for the AY.

She chose to continue killing because it felt good.  And no, it is not.  AY do not need to meld to survive, it isn't a basic need.  It is a want, a horrible want that, if indulged, makes the AY a monster.

Well then make something better. And make discrimination be punished as todays racists are punished.

I never said that AY need to meld to survive biologicaly. But they become stronger, and being stronger was what Morinth needed.

We don't exactly punish racists for their thoughts; if they take action we do, but that's completely different.  Anyway, if you think letting AY live with other Asari would just work out fine and dandy amonst a seemingly highly prejudiced population, that's almost entirely wrong and would lead to some severe de facto discrimination against them.

We've been over this time and time again.  tldr; there's no way Samara or any Justicar would have found her without the trail of bodies she was leaving behind.  And because she was hunting (and enjoying it) instead of amassing power quickly suggests that she didn't do it for the power (t'was a dandy side effect) but that she did it for the feeling.

Let the AY decide themselves if they want to live in seclution or not. It's only their right to decide. Racism is a crime, and if asari are going to discriminate against AY, they should be punished.

Please, enligthen me D.Kain. What is your justification for Morinth's smug look of satisfaction if she kills Shepard after the SM?

Yes because my point and the point of all the people arguing against you is completely unfounded by any evidence whatsoever and we are all just arguing with you because we hate freedom.

It takes time. In time people will overcome it. Freedom is a good start. Racism today exists just because there was still not enough time since races weren't equal, but it gets better everyday.

I have said my counter arguments to everything you said here already, and you probably read it...

So now your saying secluding AY is instead racism even though you yourself claimed that seclusion is basically imprisoning a AY because they might kill someone. Interesting.

This again? I'm sorry I see that you are new to this specific thread.

Morinth didn't want to kill Shepard, her smile was right after ''sex'' which is ok.

No because you think that it's ok to build happiness of the majority on unhappiness of the minority, and I don't.

No I am saying that no bad attitude should go AY way from asari, because that would be racism. And seclusion is bad.

You see we have this tiny little advantage that you lack.

We can see a monster for what it is.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one, especially if the needs of the one is to go around killing people for no reason other than to satisfy an addiction.

Right. Ardat-Yakshi who kills with sex invites Shepard to have sex with her. But she obviously did not want to kill the commander.
And it's not like Morinth could feel what she was doing to Shepard's nervous system. No, just an accident.

The problem *cannot* get better; it cannot be fixed (well, it can be, but apparently 40 years is too late so...).  There's no way for the AY and Asari to coexist; the Asari will always fear and loathe the AY while the AY will always be jealous of and hate the Asari for their condition.  It isn't an economic or politicla thing, it's a "You do something anyone else can do and you'll kill your partner" thing.  The only way for the problem to go away is for there to be no AY at all (or no Asari, but that's genocide as AY cannot reproduce).

Yes, and you cannot blame the Asari's system for everything Morinth does.

Making safety a little better is not a need it is a want. And AY have no need to go around killing, to satisfy their addiction.

There is a reason to believe that. Who else is going to hunt AY? Police? They don't even know if AY exist. Who offers a choice of seclusion or death to AY?

The Asari government who were contacted by the doctor who diagnosed Samara's daugthers. Unless Justicars can be contacted and maintain monasteries, of course.

Morinth killing Shepard = suicide. Morinth is not suicidel, she actually held to her life more than most other people.

I can blame the asari system. And as I said, if they don't want to coexist and try to make eachothers life better, then screw them.

No one in the ship knew that "Samara" is Morinth, even if they did no one would believe the commander would be stupid enough to mind-meld with an AY serial killer and after centuries, Morinth must be pretty good at hiding evidence.

I see the injustice - seclusion. Everything else come out of it. If there would be no seclusion, I would look at Morinth through a different lense.
