No, she's just willing to murder innocent people (see: police on Illium) because they act contrary to her silly Code. Dean's Shepard-Samara-Joker thought experiment is also useful in showing Samara as the monster she is.

It's a part of her Code, the central aspect of her life.  Not sure what you want her to do about it; she's already giving her a day (which is the most the code allows).  Besides, she was killing Eclipse Mercs, who gain their armor by committing a murder. >_>

I'm not familiar with this thought experiment, though I assume you mean Dean the Younger?  I've seen him posting around here and there.

It was painted so black-and-white, as such a non-choice, that I actually want to see it reversed. It all depends on the direction Morinth's character takes in ME3. She is no more beyond restitution or positive development than Samara's moral character is beyond obfuscation.

You've used that one before.  And no, not everyone who acknowledges that Samara isn't any better actually took Morinth over her.  I did, but I know at least one who didn't.  

Also siding with Samara who would get involved in affairs that don't concern her really doesn't look any better.  Of course I'm referring to her (I really want to imagine her being giddy when she says this too) comment on Tuchanka.

Does that make your opinion invalid as well?  Guess you're not that much better off then.  Guess we parallel these two tragic characters.

So you're saying that you've never sided with Jack, Thane, Zaeed, etc? There are plenty of serial killers on your squad in mass effect 2, just because they are not as "evil" as morinth doesn't mean they aren't killers

It depends on how Morinth acts in Mass Effect 3. Maybe she'll choose to be helpful, or maybe she'll go back to her old lifestyle.

Jack always feels good about killing random people.
Thane kills, because he has no free will or something. for some reason he is a gun that can be held by anyone.
But well, Zaeed is just working for money.

@D.Kain - I do my utmost not to state 'facts' on the internet - but that being said, I believe absolutely in what I believe in (that is, until I no longer believe in it) - some call it assertive, others arrogant - but again, just more opinion.

What the hell? Morinth is hideous. She acts all mature and worldly while in fact she's driven by basic animal instincts.

If she looks, sounds or behaves anything remotely like Leliana I'd save her without a second thought.

As she is now I have to try hard not to vomit every time I go through the scene in her apartment.

That's taste man.  I like Morinth's looks and voice.
