Morinth didn't want to kill Sheparrd, I elaborated the sh*t out of it! Nef and village were both mindcontrolled.

LoL.  You're delusional.

You keep talking about being locked up but I'm not sure where you're pulling it from. Morinth's sisters, as far as we know, aren't locked up. Why would Morinth be? Next!

Wait, what? Yes they are. Comfortably, but without freedom.

The comfortable part is what makes being locked up as I interpret it different. I usually think of locked up as being in jail but I get what you mean.

Well if a person is killing people just because it must bring him joy or something, otherwise why would he do that?

Thane's religous beliefs and his training put him in the state in which he sees himself as the very literal definition of a separation between the body and mind. The Hanar training as he said it was very thorough.

Thane was basically a government Assassin who killed threats to the Hanar and soon started killing the murderers of his Wife. Its not good but it is definitely not evil Thane doesn't do it for the kicks. The only time he took pleasure in it was when he tortured the pirates and slavers who killed his wife. Morinth kills for pleasure and because she is a addict.

No that is not why Morinth kills, it is PROBABLY a part of it, but certainly not the core motive nor the start of it all.

But all people are different. I for example would rather live poor but free, rather than rich and locked up.

I have in game narrative that proves she kills for those reasons. Even Morinth claims so. You have only supposition on your part.

Thane was not a goverment assassin. There are definite societal justifications for his behavior, but his philosophical justifications for his behavior is really shakey (moreso from the writers awkwardness)
I really don't understand why te rape aspect is argued with such zeal? Its just a video game. It feels like in these arguments the pro-morinth posters are implied to be rape apologists and stupid.

Yes he does. Morinth was 40 when she had a choice to kill. Thane was 8 when he was trained as an Assassin.

Point being you don't have an either-or decision with Thane. I mean you can take him or leave him. With Morinth you decide whether you kill her or Samara. Also Thane shows remorse, something Morinth never did and never will do. She feels perfectly justified to do what she does, she likes being who she is and doing what she is doing.

And yes, Thane is a murderer. And Cerberus are terrorists.

Its heavily implied so. Remember how Thane explained how the Hanar need help since they do not actually have any good physical abilities outside of water. Drell feel compelled to help the Hanar due to the Compact. It is likely Thane's family gave there child over to the Hanar government or a specific branch of the civillian area that is similar to black ops. Those who could train a Drell like Thane like that isn't necessarily free lance.

You are confusing the ''why'' with the ''bad or good''. If I want to fix Morinth problem ( and she is causing problems ) I need to change how the asari and justicars treat AY, not just kill Morinth.

The same **** every single person in this thread other than you have been saying through the entire thread. The same **** that you always ignore and replace it with your fanfiction.

Morinth was ''trained'' to not care for anyone by not being shown care. There you go.

Valid point sure. So would you kill Thane if you had a chance? If not you are a hipocrite.

That is retarded. You are ignoring the fact that Samara raised Morinth with love and care for 40 years. You are ignoring that she would rather keep Morinth in comfortable seclusion instead of running away with her daugthers that would lead to all there deaths.

You are also Forgetting that Samara was proud of her daughter for escaping anyway. You are full of ****.

That's what Morinth is doing now, showing her victims a little love and then kills them. Her running away wouldn't lead to any deaths if asari would solve the AY problem. Seclusion is a stupid solution.

Its not implied he was a government assassin. A coroporate one is more likely.
With that quote, he's referring the hanar having difficulty with manual labor outside of water and the sort of goods the drell assist them in making. Hanar millitary nor how drell fit within is not elaborated on in game. There is cut dialog of Thane referring to a camp with many other drell. He doesnt refer to it as a millitary unit

Where on earth did you get the sick idea that rape is love, chief?
