It would depend. Kasumi could kill her by going invisible. Thane has a lot of experience killing biotics. EDI could put a Kinetic barrier around Samara as soon as she starts killing people. Jack is just as powerful as Samara even teh Collectors were interested as Jack almost as much as Shepard.

Well this is all speculation. We don't know what her plan was. I highly doubt her plan was to die there though.

Morinth clearly planned to wear Shepard's face and take over as main character. 

There's no evidence for it, but I'm going to ignore whatever you say and continue to believe it.

That's perfectly valid. I even think I have seen that this is possible in some TV show I don't remember.

There is never a good choice in a situation like that there is always a better one.By saying she can go out into the public full of people that she can't meld with but would be heavily tempted by is stupid. Most of those AY would eventually want to go into the seclusion. The others will enjoy killing.

Remember - the entire crew bar Kasumi thinks Morinth == Samara, even EDI. If Shepard spontaneously drops dead getting it on with "Samara" people are going to be shocked, but they're not immediatly going to think "Samara is an Ardat Yakshi!", the idea that "Samara" isn't really samara is going to be low down the list of suspicions - especially since Morinth clearly plays her mother well. There's a few other rational explanations to why Shepard might suddenly drop dead (critical failiure of his lazarus implants?) - by the time it's properly investigated she'd be long gone.

I don't think much of a plan is needed to ensure her survival in that respect.

Sometimes, we're left with the least bad choice in life. 

She could have lived in comfortable seclusion.. the Asari don't treat AY like monsters if they go into seclusion.  

She could have run and lived a quiet life, not killing, not considering her own pleasure and thrills more important than other people's lives. 

Instead, she choose to run, and to rapemurder innocent people in order to get her rocks off.

They tried that. Morinth was raised like any other Asari until the AY thing kicked in with her. Then she started slaughtering people for a fix.

That is stupid and will only happen in a Fantasy world. Actually even many fantasy worlds aren't that naive. Plus all AY have to do is remain celebate. It would be hard as hell but it isn't something that the Asari should rearrange there entire society around to help this small minority. Plus it won't change things. there will always be AY who will kill and murder constantly. That is a very real risk that has happened in history. The Asari doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.

Noo, they didn't know she was AY. When they knew about that they decided to treat her differently, and THEN she started killing.

Before anyone says "that'll never work" - remember that this is basiclly how we handle HIV/AIDS in real life, and there's no mass hysteria/HIV concentration camps/Death squads to keep it in check

But she can’t change. With each killing, she is compelled to do it again. This 400 year addiction and compulsion to stalk and kill isn’t going to change just because she made friends with someone--and sociopaths don’t make good friends. They lack the necessary mental tools and EQ to do so. They are selfish and self-centered. Couple that with the intense addiction she has, Shepard isn’t going to change her.
