It does! I am not saying that she did good things. I am saying that I am going to punish those that are responsible and try to rehab her. If she is messed up beyond understanding friendship I will show her I will kill her out of pitty. But if anything, Samara deserves to die for Morinth's victims.

The human girl on omega was responsible for her condition how exactly - she only wanted to have a friend....

What about idiot-shep if he sleeps with her - he saved her from death, far from being responsible for her condition.

I'm sure theres plenty of other off-screen examples..

No. Actually it's because Ardat-Yakshi naturally have a lack of empathy.

Actually Asari psychiatrists seems to believe that constant use of there ability turn them into to psychopaths. Its likely that before using their ability they would be rather normal albeit frustrated a lot.

Do you think that the serial killers, Fred and Rosemary West are excusable for their crimes because they both had extremely bad childhoods?

No, when they realized she had a terrible and dangerous condition they offered her the chance to live in ease and comfort, free from responsibility where she couldn't hurt anyone. Instead she chose to run and keep killing innocent people because she liked doing so. She didn't run because she wanted freedom, she ran for her own selfish reasons. She wanted to keep getting her high at the expense of other people's lives.

BAD solution. Follow this:

Morinth would rather die than live in soclusion.

Morinth choice is death or worse then death for her. What a freakin awesome choice. You want a person to have any empathy after that??

Nobody wakes up one day and suddenly their empathy is gone. It's something that occurs over time in individuals from childhood into maturity.

Then she shold've killed herself. Instead she killed others, including those who had nothing to do with her situation.

D. Kain: You shouldn't be mean to other people and ruin their lives!

*Morinth goes around ruining other people's lives*

D. Kain: It's okay for Morinth to go around ruining other people's lives because she's a victim!

Sorry, but your two ideas don't meet up. Morinth should still be bound by the first argument, because all she's doing is creating more victims. And it isn't just the people she kills, it's the families that she's taking from.

Not that Morrinth hasn't tried. Twice if you save her.

I bet you D.Kain doesn't figure out what you're talking about the first time around.

So you are ok with that? Your mother comes to you and offers you death or worse than death. And you are going to kill yourself? Ok. Not everybody is that altruistic.

The fact that Morinth ran proves that she didn't have any empathy before she was offered that choice.

I don't really consider comftorable seclusion worse than death. Perhaps if it was like the Templars and Mages in Dragon Age I would, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Yeah your right. My mistake. I'm sure Samara's other daughters and any other Ardat-Yakshi like them are alright since they haven't melded with anyone. I'd actually like to run into Samara's daughters in Mass Effect 3 on Thessia somewhere but I doubt that would happen.

It's what YOU don't consider. Morinth considers differently. If Someone hates cheese and if offered to eat only cheese or die, then it doesn't matter what I personally would choose because I love cheese.

Yes, and most of your analysis is nothing more than wishful thinking and a hand moving. I've seen more convincing evidence from a Yaoi shipper.

Sorry I just wrote my results too many times here.

Short answer is: that scene doesn't show that Morinth wanted to kill Shepard. :)

Ah yes, blaming Samara for Morinth's victims.  Yeah, no.  That isn't how it works.  You can blame the system (not Samara) for making Morinth run, but you can't blame the system for Morinth taking lives though melding.

Morinth makes many, many victims.  Far more than Samara has made, far more than there are surviving AY.  Do they all deserve to go out on a killing spree?  Don't they deserve revenge against Morinth?

Where are you getting this "worth than death" argument from?

Again how hard is it to not be mean?

So what?  How hard is it not to kill someone?  Unless people being mean to you utterly removes your ability to choose not to, you know, commit homicide, you have no justification for that action.

Morinth kills because she is on her own, because she needs power to fight back those that want to kill her. She will not run away because she wants to enjoy life and not hide somewhere underground behind cracks. She is perfectly justified.

Dr. Kain, are you a Monster?  Because you seem to be justifying mind rape/murder.....and anyone who can do that, is not someone i would want to be next to.
