Ask Morinth. That is what she thinks. Do I believe the same? No. But we are different people. So for Morinth it is worse than death. For HER that choice is exacly that.

People don't want to accept me in real life (I'm autistic ;p) - I've never contemplated murdering them to prove anything. And if murdering people would somehow improve my positon I still wouldn't, because then I'd be less of a human being than my oppressors

Right. It's "comfortable" seclusion. Even though it's forced and she has no freedom , as long as it's comfortable...It fine. Like even though it's a dictatorship and the government can take what ever they want from you, as long as you don't resist, you'll live "comfortable".

Her choices were....

1. Living a life with out intimacy, freedom and contact with anyone outside her sister in force seclusion. Having something to pass the time or wait till you die to over come your condition.
2. Die.
3. Or live freely with everything a normal person can get in life at the cost of some elses life. Living joyfully as a monster.

With the logic your using, it sound that you easily take a life sentence as long as they make you "comfortable".

Just answer what are you going to do? die?

A choice between death, worse than death, or killing innocents? The best choice is death.
Now if we go with the real choice of living in comfortable seclusion, death, or killing innocents, then the best choice is seclusion.

You're saying that Morinth's view seclusion as worse than death, that's fine. But don't try and say that the seclusion she was offered actually was worse.

Simple...Because it's you life...Your only life. Why would you or anyone want to suffer a life of endless suffering because you have to denie yourself of all the nature part of life? Would you really be able to hadle that burden of force self denial?
