This? The face value is "Why no. I did not mean to slaughter untold numbers of innocent people, and brainwash a village. Want to bone? I'm sure it wont kill you like every last person I've mind melded with. No! Of course I'm not just lying to get a fix I so desperately want and have been feeding for 400 years!" And you saps fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

Don't take it out of context. She excaped because she was like her mother, wanted to experince everything, taste everything. Pastors do it out of duty. She just wanted to cut loose and have fun.
Their sex is different. And they would do it out of duty to the rest of society. It is when you are treated bad by the society that you don't have duty anymore.

Yeah, I wonder for how long though.
Will find out. I say for as long as friendship is better than sex.

There is no way you study psychology. You don’t even have a rudimentary understanding of someone who is a sociopath.

There's no proof that they would be dead anyway. We just assumed that would be the outcome. The reasoning behind Shepard's and the Asari's decision regarding Morinth is the same.D.Kain wrote...

It's not the same.
Batarians were already dead anyway. If I didn't destroy the relay the reapers would arrive in a couple of seconds and destroy the batarians anyway.

No, there is not.
The AY is the same salution of someone who has madness and have a hard time controlling themselves and can be a danger to themselves and other people. They dealt with AY much longer than human history. They know what may happen the best. The case is that they may succumb. Having an AY near people is like having a former crack addict locked in a room filled with crack.
I think that a healthy life is better than crack. Make it a different anology: There is crack in the room and there are also your friends and toys and books and a pool, a disco floor, a whole world to explore. And you know that once you open a bag of crack it is all going away.
I'm using the crack addict comparison because of the great temptation an AY can have by being near someone, especially one they are attracted to.

Exactly, she can't help it. That's an even more dangerous position to be in then just wanting to do it.

Then I recommend you avoid that career path. You'd probably end up the Harley Quinn to the first nutcase with a sob story.

That is a really bad analogy. One thing will always lead to the other. She would have eventually gone out and done it.
I doubt she went out and started killing on her first day of freedom. Most people can't help themselves and have sex before they're 18. Her race lives for a a 1000 years! You have to be Jesus not to fall prey to carnal needs in all that time.
There are pastors that are virgins their whole life.
2. They go through a trail of isolation to help them deal with that.
3. They also say away from woman most of their lives.

And you know that once you open a bag of crack it is all going away.). If she is near contact with another person constantly, that intimacy will grow into attraction. That attraction would make it harder or an AY to be with that someone because they would want them but can't have them because they would die...... If you can understand being near someone your attracted to and care for but can't be with them...You'll understand how painful and madding that can be. The temptation to be with someone woulds make her life worse..Madding because of the fact that she could not be with the one she want because of her condition. Add on the fact at a flip of a switch, she could control their mind and have them without them apposing makes the temptation greater.
I'm using the crack addict comparison because of the great temptation an AY can have by being near someone, especially one they are attracted to.
I understand, but I could go around girls that I like and not have sex or intimacy if I knew it would be bad for them. I really CAN imagine that situation. But hey I can still listen to music and dance with my friends, go sparring or rollerblading or what not. It is a greater joy than living in a place where girls aren't present ( nobody is present ) I would go insane.

The catholic church does everything so backwards it's not even funny. Off-topic, but Jesus/God never told anyone to do that. He said "Procreate and rule over this world". No this.

Apostel Peter said that if you CAN live without a wife, do that, because it will bring greater fruit. And if you can't then marry.

Yeah, I follow God's teachings. If God didn't say it, I ain't doing it. Peter was Human, Jesus wasn't. One thing is not wanting a family, another is doing it out of duty (ignorance).
Peter followed his own vision, but that's it, it was his own, not God's.
