the game is never really clear, i think samara says they are given the choice to live in isolation or die, but then some other people mention AY monasteries

Remember, Benezia forcibly took the information on the location of the Mu relay from the Rachni queen's mind.

It is possible that this was only possible because Rachni are telepathic... but we don't have enough information to say that for certain.

How should the Monster be handled in ME3? Im sure she isn't going to be squad member, so if she survived the events of ME2, how should she affect ME3?
