Morinth's choices:

1. Live imprisoned which she thinks is worse than death.
2. Die.
3. Rampage across the galaxy overpowering people's nervous system and killing them via brain hemorage so she can fight back those that gave her the stupid choice.

Only a sociopath would choose that last one.

A little correction there.

First, I miss the forums I used to be on that banned people for being childish and rude enough to intentionally misquote people like that.  Grow up.

Second, killing random innocent people has nothing to do with fighting back against anything or anyone, it's just selfish lashing out.

All this crap over an open and shut case of a rapemurdering monster.

I can't believe this has reached 90 pages.....i never expected when i created this topic, that it would be the fastest growing topic i have seen on this forum.

The power of controvery my friend. Don't understimate heated issues in the BSN - where everyone hates everyone, period.

Hey that's my thing!

I think the belief is to pessimistic.  I have seen some pretty decant people on these forums, besides i don't hate you guys :)

Maybe we should get back on topic.....

How should the Monster be handled in ME3? Im sure she isn't going to be squad member, so if she survived the events of ME2, how should she affect ME3?

I'd like there to be something good and something bad depending on who you saved.

Example if you saved Samara:- She could have a mission in which she'd be a temp-squaddie, and you'd take/destroy/sabotage something by force from Cerberus. But later in the game she'd do something which forces Shep to make a choice, something like her code makes her turn on one of you're perm-squad who is in your party at the time. (Bioware did say they wanted a smaller squad with more depth)

And if you saved Morinth:- She'd also have mission where she'd become a temp-squaddie, and you'd have to take/destroy/sabotage something using more cunning (And maybe Morinth could use her Ardat Yakshi abilities to do good for once). And the flip-side for her could be that she breaks her sisters out of seclusion and all three do a runner, believing that nobody would care because of the Reapers. Again Shep gets to make a choice.

I'm not bad at this.

I don't mind the Morinth option, but i don't think Samara should turn against one of your buddies.

What, Nef being an artist wasn't enough?

No,it wasnt. Part of the dialogue was about violence, power and danger. Such things. Not only art.Answer those wrong and you fail to gain her interest. Nef as a victim doesnt fit.

Why not? She would turn on police officers.

It ONLY has weight if ALL of Morinth's victims of 400 years had it comming. Now while I do believe that the village and Nef might have deserved it, I'm sure there were some innocents she killed. And ofcourse Shepard him/herself had to act pretty dark at the club to get Morinths attention.

I think any objective person would believe that Nef is an innocent victim, its written that way.  What else would you want them to say to demonstrate that?

Also, about Samara attacking your teammates - that oath she says on Illium, says something like "I will kill your enemies, defend your friends..."   I think the only people that will have any problems with Samara are ones who do a Renegade playthrough.

Being renegade is not supposed to cause me problems, thank you. I mean it can of course but I will choose the option that works best with my playthrough.

You misunderstood. Of course Nef is innocent. She is a victim didnt make any sense and is an example of horrible writing in Mass Effect 2 that lacks any logic. That was my point.

HEr oath ends after the suicide mission.

You didnt remember what she said on tuchanka?

At the fighting pit, Samara finds pitting living beings against each
other for entertainment unforgivable, and considers returning should she
survive the mission to teach the krogan compassion; noting that she will need many bullets.

Killing krogans who follow their longtime tradition...

How is that "right",even for the core paragons??

Or killing politics just for corruption?

Sorry, morinth is far more calculable for me then samara is.  At least i didnt have to know all 5000 sutras before knowing for she think/act in a given situation.

Alot of people think that dog-fights or in case of ME2 varren-fights are wrong. I for one never bet at the pit because I find it repulsive myself. Even if it is only a game. I don't care for traditions if they are cruel. Though, you are right to say that it isn't Samara's business. Tuchanka isn't an Asari planet so she shouldn't stick her blue nose in it.

Its one thing to found that wrong and another to want to kill krogans for doing that. Only a crazy fanatic would do that.

Space paladin with an over zealous code? Or space succubus with strong sociopath leanings?

Yeah I'm going to go with the Paladin.

I already said why, but it really dosn't have any weight anyway. As I said, Morinth most likely had other victims in 400 years that were actually innocent.

360 years actually. Just focusing on Nef and the village though, there's no evidence to suggest that they did deserve their fate so why even bring it up?

I wasn't actually the one to bring it up, I followed the discuttion on it. And it's just my opinion on them.

Ah yes, you just "followed the discussion" on it. Which is why you attempted to defame Nef and those villagers.

You can't say "Oh those people deserved it", and then use weasel words like "but that's just my opinion".
