You can't say "Oh those people deserved it", and then use weasel words like "but that's just my opinion".
And that is because?

You said it. Either stand by it and face the response to having said it, or step away from it and say you were mistaken.

The truth is don't know. I don't know how people treated Morinth, so I can't say that they were innocent. I know a little more about Nef, she went into a dark club and used drugs, that is asking for trouble. I also know that in order to get Morinth's attention Shepard has to act bad in the club, aka punching people or being a badass with a big mouth.
So really don't know what kind of people Morinth is targeting. If she is targeting people like how my Shepard behaved, than it's not so bad. Nef doesn't seem innocent too, village I don't know.

That's kinda funny, Kain. First you say it's OK for Morinth to go on a multi-century rapemurder spree because of how you imagine her childhood to have been, but then you say that Nef, a young adult from a lower-income background in a place like Omega, deserved to be rapemurdered for what appears to have been a touch of experimental drug use and clubhopping.

Who cares? She's already dead.Xilizhra wrote...
Er, wait a minute. I haven't been following this for a while, but regardless of Morinth's mental state, how much of this was truly her own fault, how bad the current narrative is, etc, Nef definitely didn't deserve to die from it.

Wow...it like you know Nef in detail..... Could it be that Nef and Shepard are two different people and Mornith was attracted to different things with Shepard and Nef. With Nef she liked the passionate artist, and she Shepard she loved the strong soldier.tonnactus wrote...

What, Nef being an artist wasn't enough?
No,it wasnt. Part of the dialogue was about violence, power and danger. Such things. Not only art.Answer those wrong and you fail to gain her interest. Nef as a victim doesnt fit.
I already made that point. For Mornith to be with people and not murder them with sex, she would have to give up intimancy.Xilizhra wrote...

Yes, she did push Nef to drugs.Killjoy Cutter wrote...

And I'll have to check later tonight, but wasn't it Morinth that got her into Hallex to begin with?

Noted. But it's also an important sign that similarly innocent people could be killed in the future if Morinth isn't properly handled, if she does survive.D.Kain wrote...

What a good perspective. We need more thinking like that.

Ultimately, I decided it wasn't really in my Shepard's character to kill Samara after all. She'd have saved Morinth in a heartbeat if it didn't involve that, though.
I know, that's what I always tell Xili when she comes with that argument as well.D.Kain wrote...

She would have been happy to get Morinth on the squad somehow. Whether she'd somehow get Samara off of it, I don't know... but in the end, while she'd have preferred to redeem Morinth, Samara's life was too high a price for the potential of that.D.Kain wrote...

Saved her from what?

I'm guessing he meant he'd gladly kill Samara in order to save Morinth's life. What else is new?Xilizhra wrote...
Your reply, I admit, baffles me.

It's not as hard as you think.
