I recently moved across the country and a lightening strike killed my motherboard and drive, and now I can't find the booklet with my code on it. I have the game registered with Bioware. Is there a way of getting the code?

Contact EA.com support/livechat and see if you can talk them into giving you the code. As an alternate you can see if you can still access the drive with either an external link or as a slave. Sometimes it will work, others not. But EA can give you the codes if you get the right person and jump through the right hoops.
Or shell out 20 bucks if not on sale to buy a new copy.

The drive caught on fire. I'm not going to drop $1500 on a level three clean room recovery for a reg code.

So I did the EA livechat. I was told I had to send the $10, a receipt, and a scan of my game discs. Why Did I register the game to an email address, if I can't use that email address to get a copy of my code? This level of customer service is horrible. If my email isn't secure enough to have the code sent to, then why is it secure enough to govern my DLC purchases and extra content? I can tie a credit card in their system to that email address. But I can't get a code to play a game? Really?

Try live chat again in a few hours, preferably when there has been a change of shift, and new staff memebers are on board. Its been found that there is a varying degree of helpfulness in the EA support reps. Some are complete muppets, while others are very helpful, and will do it quite quickly once you have verified yourself, especially how you have the game registered on these forums.

Dang, hope that was all that caught fire, and not the whole house......
Like Bogs said, the helpfulness of the customer support varies wildly and it can be easily worth trying back later, up to a day or two and see if you can get a good one. The few times I have needed to get help, it was very easy and worked well.
