I just installed the BGT and I remember some things but forgotten most about my days playing BG1/2.

One thing I remember is that NPCs can kill eachother if they have different alignment. Is there a way to bypass this? I would love to have Edwin AND Minsc in my party, but doesnt seem likely yes?

It's not specifically an alignment issue, but some NPCs are just scripted to dislike each other. The BG2 Tweak Pack mod (http://www.gibberlin...weaks/index.php) has a component which it says will prevent them fighting, though I've never used it myself.

nothing funnier than having jaheira/ khalid with montaron/Xzar going crazy in a small tent with xzar shooting a lighting bolt to resolve the problem.

You can have both Minsc and Dynaheir and Edwin together in your party. Then you could always send Dynaheir out into the wilderness fighting some basilisks with a dagger.

You can have Minsc, Dynaheir, and Edwin in the same party...FOR A WHILE. They will fight it out eventually, however.

Hehe yes, but if Im about to take the cheesy way out I might aswell just have Minsc beat her to pieces.

Although I've stumpled across this mod called SCS and it seems that NPCs wont be couple bound anymore, maybe I can just release Dynaheir then? Question is tho, will Minsc and Edwin STILL be at eachothers throat.

SCS will indeed allow you to separate couples within resorting to mayhem or locking one of them in a room. It won't stop NPCs fighting, although if you want to do this you can use the happy patch from G3 BG2 Tweaks.
