Don't believe the critics - Dragon Age: Origins is not dead.

If you're still yearning for the "classic Dragon Age experience" that you came to love in Dragon Age: Origins, then make sure you keep your eyes out for "The Shattered War" mod for DAO. With all new areas, companions, enemies and many decisions that will determine your future, this standalone adventure set after the main campaign will make you a hero with your own unique destiny.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be possible to embed the video in this post on these forums, so instead I'll post some screenshots of the mod for people to get a feel for the kind of places you'll be seeing...

So any idea on a release date? ...You know its not nice to tease right? .....I have killed lesser men for lesser things....

I'm afraid I still haven't set a specific release date - there is still plenty of work to be done to make sure the mod lives up to the expectations of the Dragon Age experience,, and there are still some major character roles for which I do not have a voice actor.

I wouldn't want to set a release date in case I was unable to meet it... but rest assured that I'll definitely be doing all I can to let people know about the mod once it's completed!
