i decided to try playing the dlc about hawke's legacy. got to the end only to be in a predicament where boss is still alive after its hp is zero. if this were an isolated incident i would not need to complain. However, this has happened 10 times!! Come bioware 10 times! 1st the game had great issues then got sucked into getting its DLC and now this?? Look; there's a simple fix for this. simply have the boss die automatically the moment its hp gets to zero. That's not hard is it?! I also checked on the forums about this and found out alot of ppl have stumbled upon this problem. Fix it permanently. After all the time it came out yet; it still has this obvious bug!

Try re-patching the game, uninstall any mods, load a save game prior to entering legacy and give it another go.
(Most people having this problem admit to using mods, and removing them usually fixes it).

If you use 3rd party modifications Bioware is not responsible for support. If you use mods then do as Syndose said and stop putting the blame on BioWare.

Are you a professional programmer with knowledge of the DA2 code to give advice to how Bioware should program the game???
Second, I didn't take a look at the game code but I'm pretty sure that's how it's determined for any game to know if someone died or not. Or how do you think the boss is dying know? without your "fix"?

I paid, downloaded and installed Mark of the Assassin for PC and in my DLC on the main page it says unauthorized, and the phone support took an hour to send me here because this is where the answers are, yet.... NO ANSWERS!!!! I am VERY angry.

Have you logged into your account here ingame?? IF it is set to automatically log in, then go into the game, log our, turn off auto login, then exit the game, restart and log in manually. Make sure you are using the same email and password of the account you purchased the content with and make sure you account doesn't use special characters, such as #$%^&.
