Does a "neutral" Isabela return during Arishok duel if only romanced? Or do you have to have either high friendship/rivalry?

As I recall you just need sufficient friendship/rivalry. Romanced isn't required.

Thanks for answering. I know that you need Friendship/Rival. What I'm asking is can she stay with no Friendship or Rival but she was only monogamously romanced with no approval change?

Per my game guide, it states that you must have 50% friendship or or rivalry and complete her questioning beliefs mid-stage relationship conversation before the end of ACT2, or you battle the Qun. In other words before you enter "to Catch a Thief" . She will only make her timely return when you meet the requirement. You don't need romance. I never romanced Isabela.
Also make SURE you choose to help Isabela first when you arrive at Hawke Estate and you are faced with Isabela and Aveline.

Once again thanks for the reply what I want to know is will she return under this specific scenario if you did "to Catch a Thief" without Questioning Beliefs.
Friendship, No
Rivalry, No
Romance Yes
Sorry if I wasn't clearer the first couple of times. (no sarcasm)

The guide does state her questioning beliefs must also be completed. You'll find her at the hang man. I know I had this done before Catch a Thief. I had her on the friendship path no romance.
