Many thanks Chris - please keep us posted of progress and if possible specifics on which 'servers' are running and which are not.
Be well. Game on.

Thanks so much for this.
I've recently installed the NWN disc+the expansion discs+the three premium modules from the Diamond
(or deluxe) edition. And it worked. (there was a glitch with Hordes of the Underdark disc in the Deluxe Edition, though. - luckily, I had an old expansion disc.... )
I haven't tested the premium modules yet, apart from that I tried to click on them, and they do seem to wrk. I also have some other Premium Modules thaat I've bought from the Bioware store who I loaded on to DVD, I think.. As soon as I find it.....I'll test these modules...
Thanks again

Multiplayer authorization is the only authorization I cared about. This is great news. I sincerely hope you can recover the forum posts and tie them together with a good search function, too. There's tons of invaluable information in them, and all those pages of unique content will give bioware a huge boost in the search engines.

I guess this also means that we have a chance to get the old legacy forums back...which contains valauble information gathered during 10 years of -ehm- forum speak and snarky talk...

Game server logins and legacy forum access aside, would it be possible to re-enable the NWN games in the list of "Register Games" page here on the forums, so they show up in the "My Games" menu and the "Games" tab in the profile?
If I remember correct, the forum hade a choice to filter out the individual game forums that was not relevant according to your registered games. Will this be possible again, or is it just me who has not found out where I should look to do that?

How sad, we really do have to remind them how to do their jobs...
Meanwhile on Lotro.com where they know how to treat customers

Hmmm...well, this game has been around a lot longer than LotRO, and LotRO.com.
And NWN is not a MMO, where there are paying customers online. For NWN, you pay ONCE (for the game) and then have unlimited online/SP/LAN play.
So...two totally different types of games, and two totally different resource orientated genres.
Official support for NWN ended a looooooong time ago. Can the same be said for LotRO?
Note that I am not attempting to excuse the lack of customer relations here - clearly it could be better. I am merely explaining the differences between the two comparisons made, and why a company will continue to offer customer relations to one, and not to waste resources on the other.
Though I rather think that the loss of the legacy forums is pretty harsh currently. Would be nice to have them back.

Webshaman said "you pay once"
I says $1024 on software to play, host, design & DM neverwinter nights...
This was back in like 03-04ish
Authentication Servers still down.
I need a server side fix for this problem if I am to host a updated version of Age of Mortals in the roleplay section.
Does anyone have a oncliententer script I can use to keep folks in there right accounts?
Please I could never produce such a script on my own. prefer a script using DMFI tools or not?...
I asked lysan for help the responce was " we dont support other servers..."
*sigh*

I wonder, if they're working with Atari on this, we might even see the premium modules becoming available for purchase again...

Maybe. Personally, I'd just settle for everything to be the way it was before the hacking.

Keep in mind that if Bioware abandons NWN and people never get their keys back, they can get new keys for only $9.99USD.

I'm pretty sure they made no such promise. In fact, I remember some disclaimer to the effect that on-line storage of the information was not to be considered as your primary mode of keeping track of your keys.
