Hello,
I just bought the Dragon age ultimate edition for PC last night and While I was following the installation process, there's a message that pops up saying, In order to play the expanded edition of dragonage, the content must first be activated.
Then there's a pop up of the web page on Bioware social to register the Promo code, (which I confuesed with the cereal game code.) but found the promo and registered it. BUT, the intsallation failed. I tried the process over again, but the same message came up AGAIN saying I had to activate the content, even though I've done that. I have the content listed in my profile but the Installation stil failed. I can't get it to install at all.
Is there anyone who can help me with this? I kinda want to cry.:(

I'm not 100% sure that I've understood you correctly but if I've gotten it right your problem is that you can't install the dlc after you have installed the ultimate edition. If so read the following which should explain it.

The dlc will be installed along with the Ultimate edition so you'll only have to register them on your bioware account and then log in on the very same account in-game. That's the reason why the dlc installation failed, you can't install something that's already installed.

Thank you for responding, and sorry for the confusion, it's not the DLC I can't get installed, it's the Dragon Age game itself. I can get through the steps until it wants the game's cereal number o the manual, and then That message pops up, saying I need to activate the expanded content. I can't even get to point where I'd download content to the game, because apparently it won't install without the DLC.  :pinched:

I even registered everything on my Bioware account the first time it asked, but the installation still failed. All it lets me to do is repeat those steps, with the same results.

Make sure you are entering the correct code (the CD key for the game, not the DLC). Beyond that, a complete problem report as described in the read first post would be helpful. A number of things can cause the install to fail and it is impossible to identify the cause with incomplete information.
