Every major plot point in ME2 I've gone Renegade, but I've been a paragon to allies (hey, you gotta have your minions loving you, right?). This has caused some of my scars to fade from view.
Is there a fix to this, or am I screwed and can't get total and complete scarring?

You're screwed. Unless you want to edit the coalasced.ini file to make all renegade scarring options have the same value as maximum renegade scarring.
Although that will mean in future games you start off looking like a cyborg, and have to do the cosmetic surgery/paragon route to get yourself looking human.

That's some bull****. Glad to see bioware doesn't like mods for ME. Makes life lovely.

As a note, how do I do that? I know there's a tool. My next play through is going to be pure paragon (ironically, Alaric (the visigoth, conqueror of Rome) is ballsed out renegade unless it helps him get more power (hence, saving rachni (allies), being friendly to his squad). My next character is going to be pure paragon, and with the problems that entails-- you don't live up to perfection? **** off and die) so I can fix that problem when I restart (since Lomaune needs to go through ME1.... yeah, it'll be awhile),
What's that edit/tool again?

The links to the tools you need (Notepad++ and the ini fixer) are listed in the first page of this posting;

Search the coalesced.ini for "scars" and take note of the settings. I cant recall if you have to change the emisscars_01 to emisscars_05 (as well as normscars), or the other way around.

Last time I played I dropped a whole bunch more renegade than paragon using this editor and it gave me the scars in game, but in the menus wasn't as well.....so you may try it.....no promises.
