Here's a small problem, my current love interest is Tali  and I'm stuck at a save point before the suicide mission with a possible morality issue.
Would there be any difference if I told Tali that I'd rather wait until it was safe via some weird medical miracle of Mordin's before we slept together?
To me, sleeping with her would be like trying to sleep with some immuno- compromised or chemo- patient who's as risk of dying from a mild cold, this seems like a obvious bit of irresponsibility.
So, if I choose to wait, does that kill the relationship, will it somehow benefit me not to risk her life in the new game?
If not, well I'll just play through the cheerful romance, but I'm hoping for a "glad we waited" scene to pop up that'd reward the effort.
Despite her subsequent remark when you do complete the romance, that the effects were mild and worth it; it still seems pretty freakin' stupid.

If you reject her right before the romance scene commences, the romance is still active. You can still cuddle with her after the suicide mission(assuming she's alive.)

Or even if she's not, if you're a( loopy or b( just very very clingy.

nothing bad happens after the romance i got 100% survival and i talked to Tali after suicide mission and she says that she has a terrible cough and her nose is running with something she cant even described but then she says it was totally worth it

There is also ME3 where I think Bioware said that teammates you did not romance before will be available in ME3.
Not really sure enough to invest in that though
