They built the Arlathan refugees a tree.
I thought that was a really nice touch on the designer's part, made my heart break a little when I found out what Kal Sharok did to them in the end.

... I have gone through 4 Witch Hunt playthroughs and I've never noticed that! O.o Then again, I was probably more concerned about the darkspawn everywhere that were trying to murder us. XD I'll have to take a closer look at that monument on my next playthrough.
