I wont say how or where I got it, but for some odd reason I can only go to my screens max resolution even though the card is capable of higher.
I am checking my FPS with fraps.

Your res is limited by your monitor. Mine only does 1280x1024 too.
Do you have mages in your party? See what the FPS is like with 10+ on your screen with spell effects going off ><
Also how much memory does your video card have?

my PC monitor is set at 1600x900 (32x) (Recommend) what it told me.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 5000+
8800gt at 1776mb video memory
3gb of ram
DirectX11
I think its enough to max it out.

So Avindago I'm actually curious how your system ran the Character Creator, since that's the closest point of reference I have access to at this point.

Dell XPS 430
Intel Quad Core - {2.40Ghz}
5 gigs of Ram
NVidia-Geforce 8400 GS - {640MB}
I think I am good to play this game if not time for a upgrade with the video Card..........man i hope not it cost me a lot to buy this pc, old one dead last week and I was not going to go without playing DA:O for a week.

Alienraptor, I had 150ish fps on the CC but remember the CC will not really tell you anything about how you will run the game.

I have the same specs as you too. I'm excited!

I'm guessing that's with the settings maxed?
Obviously the CC does not tell me how the game will perform; however, I think it might be safe to assume (within some reasonable limits) that the way the CC scales to the full game might be similar between systems. For example, if your framerate is cut roughly 1/3 moving from CC to the full game, then maybe I will experience a similar performance hit, and can estimate whether I find that to be acceptable.
Anyway, thanks for the info.

The game was not pirated or stolen....If it was pirated I would not be able to register the game to my account.

The game is great! And it certainly takes some getting used too. I would go right into the tactics portion of the game when you get your first party member. It makes a huge difference. So far though I am loving it,

Can you take a screenshot of the title screen and/or options for graphics? Are there any options for blood/gore in the game?

*Sigh*
I wish some retailers would respect the release date... And Im jealous. I want the game in my hands now!

Good to know, my computer is almost identical except I have 3GB Ram and still run WinXP. But I will most likely run the game at 1024x res, since my monitor is only 17".

Actually I would love some screens of the options pages too when you get the chance. Of course I would then say wtf are you doing on the forums when you have the game to play.

Wow, JustAnotherZero that is a truly excellent quotation in your signature.
In regards to this thread, good for you getting it early! I don't mind waiting because it only heightens my anticipation. And the fact you're able to run it so smoothly on that rig means I have absolutely nothing to worry about in terms of maxing it.

I have a Radeon HD 5870 on order. I hope I receive it Monday so I can have it set up before picking up the game on the 3rd.
