Basically Bioware hyped up this big important event (They didn't hype it up too much). Some thought it was new DLC or a new game they were making. Eventually after all that hype it turned out to be some swag sell of of Bioware shirts and caps and other crap.

Standard policy of any company worth getting excited about the rumors of is "We cannot comment on rumors or speculation." That's why you'll never be able to get the answer straight, because if anyone working at Bioware ever confirmed any rumors that flow across the internet you wouldn't hear from them on these forums again, because they'd be fired. And if anyone outside of Bioware ever confirmed the rumor because they were somehow in the know, they'd be blacklisted, likely by EA as an entity and whatever site they work for would either be forced to fire them, or never get advance copies again.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

Turned out to be an auction where you gambled away points earned on twitter for reblogging the event/answering game-related questions. It was really stupid and only available in the United States.
