more seriously it's probably nothing more than the first batch of DLC being announced. That's already finished and will ship on the disk with an 800 point 50kb unlock code that you get for free if you preordered pre 2002.

Bioware announced this EPIC COMMUNITY EVENT.  It was so EPIC that it needed a countdown timer.  Everyone was like, "Zomg chat session with the devs?  DLC giveaway?"

Turned out to be an auction where you gambled away points earned on twitter for reblogging the event/answering game-related questions.  It was really stupid and only available in the United States.

Except for Florida.

Correction; Priestly says it won't be MP, which means it will be.

I can see how it could end up being an announcement regarding MP but I wouldn't say that's something lots of us have been "eagerly awaiting." If anything it's quite the contrary.

Little after ComicCon, Casey said ME3 is in final production.

After that there was infamous ME3 multiplayer confirmation on cover of some gaming magazine, but it just happen to be a cheap sales boost tactic cause they wrote there's a rumor about it and they think it's true.

Also a day before GamesCom, there was a schedule about events and ME3 had multiplayer tag on it while every other game with multiplayer( Battlefield 3, Modern Warfail 3...) didn't. Probably do to guy who mate that schedule did lazy research.

And guess what? Multiplayer wasn't even mentioned.
Same with PAX after.

If it is multiplayer, i wont like it but i wouldent be upset i mean this is EA we are talking about. You can see the direction the game engine is taking us, a sort of scifi/GOW style gameplay and from EA's point of view it means more sales from the people on the side who wouldent buy it because its a single player game.

And even if they did say there would be no multiplayer...the game is subject to change, EA owns bioware now, if they wanted the weapons to be changed to pillows that shoot feathers, it would be done.

This has to be coming up to the dozenth thread at least.  All so far without merit.  I hope it stays that way
