I'd love it to be something different though.

We will know what the big amazing secret will be.
I'm betting it's about a slight subtle change in one irrelevant power.

Vegas voice actor, considering it was supposed to be show but got delayed.
I'd be pissed about this... I don't like making shit hype about compleatly irrelevant things. Unless it's Jesus Christ himself voicing him, I honestly couldn't care less.

Maybe new female character reveal.

"Reading BioForums. Why is there no support thread for... oh, right, we just invented her for ME3. #slowonuptake"
But yeah, I'm guessing that or some other character/actor reveal.
Or a secret gameplay mechanic (ie spaceflight).

Most of us want multiplayer...Wha?
Squadmate announcement would be pretty awesome. Or anything, really.
Don't forget that, according to BW, most of us liked planet scanning.

Never been officially denied. Huge mass market demand. EA wants that market. Mass Effect is a third person shooter, EA will make a MP component.
I just hope it doesn't screw the singleplayer just for the sake of a checkmark on the box.

Indeed, but it is something alot of the community have asked for, maybe they will show him in a new demo.

I hope to god not. These forums will go up in flames.
Actually I hope so since I'll be sitting back and laughing at the carnage.

Let's not forget the fact that they've been hiring multiplayer devs since summer 2010, and still have a job opening up for a "Senior Tester - Online Specialist".DTKT wrote...

Considering that Bioware is doing a MMORPG I'm not entirely surprised by that.

Why would they wait this long if it was multiplayer to announce it? I can understand giving away new bits of info on classes, characters, gameplay mechanics in piecemeal way to slowly build up excitement without spoiling anything but why wait to announce multiplayer so late? Why wouldn't they hammer that point on every interview or preview from the very beginning?
Because many people on Bioware forums want there to be a multiplayer so they can have something else to **** about. People have already complained about the possibility of multiplayer. Hell it could be made by another team and be something akin to horde mode on Gears and they would still complain.

Almost every dev puts info/news/screenshots/videos under an embargo so that those news sources take their time and publish nice quality articles about them. Instead of just saying here's a bunch of info, it's a free for all.
And what do you think might be a news big enough for needing time for the press to absorb, edit and write about?
Doesn't sound like your average BioWare pulse or class video thing.
Bioware puts every press event they have under embargo. They didn't reveal multiplayer the last 2 embargos, there's no reason to believe they'll do it this time.

Same with The Old Republic development. They had a principle of not announcing features they are not sure to deliver.
