It would be a shame to have ME3 the way it is without a co-op and a horde mode, which is why I'm hoping for gameplay.

There's too much elitism on both sides for that to work out, PC players wouldn't want to play with x360 players, x360 players wouldn't want to play with PC players... not to mention the pad vs keyboard + mouse problem that is impossible to solve unless Microsoft releases a keyboard and a mouse for the x360.

Honestly, the paragon in me hopes that would become a reality; I hate it when an entire group of people is left out. And really, everyone should have the chance to play ME1.

I've also shaken my fist at the lack of cross-system/platform play. I keep hoping that someday our pleas will be heard.

I agree.  Add to that we don't know what Andy Katkin (whoever he may be) thinks we are all "eagerly awaiting''.

At least it is not BW telling us it is something we will like/look forward to.  That hasn't always worked out so well in the past

I wish, but somehow I doubt it. Though they did say nearly the same exact thing at ComicCon right before the BW march. That's when they revealed femShep facebook voting.

I don't think there were any demands by any gaming outlet, magazines, blog or any other publication for Multiplayer in Mass Effect.

And that's since ME1.
