 I have not been eargarly awaiting a multiplayer announcement.

I'm guessing it's the Femshep trailer. But if it is going to be multiplayer, I'll be watching these forums with my popcorn ready.

This pretty much sums up my feelings. I value story, but I also value quality time with friends. Could you imagine how boring Dungeouns & Dragons if you were all alone?

If its multiplayer I am crossing my fingers for a horde mode. Would like to play as Garrus or Ashley.

It's not the femshep trailer, because in the other parts of the presentation, if there was an embargoed trailer it was mentioned in the livestream. No trailer was mentioned during Mass Effect 3's portion.

I don't want multiplayer at all, but I'm not going to say "OMG NOT BUYING!" if there is any.

I think 3 player co-op is feasible actually without conflicting with development too much. Although graphics on consoles will have to be toned down in this mode.

I believe some people thought it would be in ME2. Not sure but there were some who complained about it.

Well then maybe something else.. it would be nice to be exited about something in that "wow i never saw that coming" kind of way.

Process of elimination got it down to the only feasible thing in that list: release date of the Mass Effect movie, which doesn't excite me because we already know that's happening and it doesn't tell us anything new.

It's scary, but in my opinion it could only be one of these things:
1. Multiplayer (BSN forbid...)
2. Space combat with the Normandy
3. James Vega voice actor announced
4. More Ashley footage, including armor
5. Shepard actor cast in ME movie

These are really the only things that fit the parameters of the clues we've been given AND are feasible things to release info on pre-release this early on.

Wasn't there a guy a while ago who was at a conference in which they confirmed the the game will have multiplayer that will be released as DLC a month after the game releases?

It's possible they'd be announcing the movie that's supposed come out, or some info on that.

But I would think it's more about the game itself than the franchise, and I'd prefer multiplayer. I'd buy that in an instant! If there's anything I've been waiting for, it's multiplayer!
