okay I have to leave, but here's a hint...

Alice in Wonderland: Madness Returns

Um, I'm going to assume that was the answer.

In this game a young boy makes a pact with an eldritch abomination in order to attain wealth and power.  But in the end, his army is all but invincible and there are no enemies left to conquer but the creature that granted him his power.  In his hubris he imprisons the monster, but the moment it was sealed away, the boy realized there was a terrible price to pay, and reality was shattered forever.

American McGee Presents: Scrapland

Remember that game where you played as a descendant of a king who accidentally caused a magical apocalypse and you get possessed right in the beginning and get an undead knight, an explorer with a robot hand, an insane writer, a pet bear and a golem as companions?

The Sims: Stone Age?

Remember that game where you were a pink-haired girl, with a giant circular drill suit who dug through museums, prisons, factories, a giant missile, and countless baddies?

Yeah, probably not. So let's see if you can figure it out.

It's on the game boy advance, and it's a cult classic. It combines puzzles and platforming.

Drill Dozer!

Remember that game where you start off as a simple boy wanting to be a great adventurer like his father? He goes on his own adventure and he meets this green haired girl who's already a great adventurer. Anyway, while meeting more people, they uncover an ancient secret. Twins of one of the ancient civilization who sacrificed themselves before are born in case this great darkness erupts which it has, and they have to sacrifice themselves to save the world.

Well I got two Both are technically RTS's

In one You are America in a War with Iraq, and after some point, Russia rises again from the asshes and invades Central Asia, and Eastern Europe, the war is mainly over oil supplies, eventually, after Iraqi rebels take a US ICBM Silo, and a Russian Missile and use it to Attack key American and Russian Cities, they both blame each other, and soon will, millions die around the globe. In the game ou construct bases, and units, but given its more "realistic" most things don't live long.

The other is a modern War Sim, Set in a fictional war Of China Versus the US in the near Future, where you can play as Either side, you take contol of a small rapid response force and can command each unit on its own from the gunner and commanders seat, or all of them via a tactical view.

Grandia!

I was going to post about this game myself.  Time to think of another one...

Remember that game where you play a purple haired boy with a dog who starts off to find a stolen item from his town and ends up uncovering a larger conspiracy.  Along the way you encounter this dragon rider who keeps attacking these machines and later joins the party, turns out she's a hot elf-looking chick with big breasts and the pink-haired princess who has none at all comments that she wishes she could bounce.

And at the end they end up sacrificing the very things they use to make life easier in order to save the planet from impending doom?

Remember that game where you and your
two childhood friends and annoying pet go on an adventure to collect a
chunk of crystalized dragon crap? This leads to a strange new adventure
where you end up meeting your childhood hero, get betrayed by your
hero's friend, have your girlfriend get kidnapped and end up having to
collect the powers of ancient dragons in order to fight a goddess. Oh,
and you fight a guy in a duck costume.

Since no one guessed it, that was Lunar: Silver Star Story

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. It was completely open world - I just couldn't climb up all the conveniently placed hills and mountains. Or a mysterious text box would show up saying "Don't go there."

Wild Arms.

Correct.

Remember that PC game set in a dystopian future complete with mutants where you played as an old school private investigator? In the beginning you were tasked with solving a murder in order to pay your rent, but end up having to uncover the truth behind the rumored UFO crash at Roswell and deal with an alien conspiracy?
