Party AI no longer uses abilities?

They won't attack any enemies. If I am in combat, they will not draw their weapons.
The
only way I can get them to fight is manually forcing them, or setting a
tactic that uses "Enemy: Nearest Visible -> Attacking"
Any idea what might cause this?
I've
deleted and uninstalled all my mods, removed all files from my override
directors and removed the .erfs from my data folders. I've loaded a
save on a character that I played without any mods, and still have the
same problem.
The only mods I were using were very minor anyway, and used by many other people, with a great deal of testing
Even if you don't know how to fix it, has anyone else heard of a similar problem?

It's happening in all my saves and characters.
I'll run into a group of enemies and no one does a thing. Combat music doesn't even start. Another weird thing is if I go in to the party selection screen and change members, the old members just stick around but their portraits go away and new members never show up.

I went into Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\ and deleted the entire Single Player folder (I know this sounds like a bad idea, but it should be almost entirely empty except one or two small files). That fixed it right away.

Really?!
I checked out that folder.
In there I have
audio folder - 1.96Gb
data folder - 3.20Gb
singleplayer.cif 47kb
By saying to remove all except one or two "small files" I think you may inadvertently be giving people some very wrong and potentially dangerous advice.

I believe you are not looking in the correct folder. You should start from your Documents folder, not Program Files. It would definitely not be a good idea to delete any of the things you were looking at.stubbieAussie wrote...

Well.....I just checked my folder in My Documents and there is no Modules folder there.
The only place I can find that folder is in the games install directory.
Best you check for yourself,
so I still stand by my initial warning.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]
