Does anyone know what's causing this?
I installed the tucked hair mod, and thought that it was just that, but even the vanilla hairstyles have this weird box effect around them.

Any help getting rid of this would be appreciated.



I tried removing everything from my override folder.
These transparent black boxes still appear around some hairstyles.

Something's up with the alpha transparency. Is Tucked Hair the only mod you're using?

My guess is that the issue is either in the hair texture or the hair material object. Do you use any mods that change either?

Modified hair texture (possibly with botched alpha channel) does sound like a likely culprit.

(though doesn't explain why it'd still happen with the override folder cleared, unless it's the hair texture from core game files that got somehow damaged?)
