Is it actually possible?
If so - how and will much of the dialogue change?

1 line in "Finding Nathaniel". But that one line of him being an appreciative and warm sibling is worth the hassle.

Befriended Warden Carver is more tolerant if you side with the templars. Rival Carver thinks you betrayed your own people.

11 in that plot, actually, including two that are the same text but a different read from the actor. Eh, maybe too subtle in retrospect. It has an effect here and there, but the siblings don't have a DING for max friend or rival.
There's more variance in Legacy, given the focus of the module. Maturing and time passed (Act) also has some effect on Carver, because his focus has shifted.

Also. Legacy really, really helps.

I friended Carver in one (uncompleted) playthrough, so I never actually got to see the variance. Looking at the wii, though, it seems far more doable than rivalling Bethany.
I like the development you get on the rival path though, through the animosity of the act 2 and 3 encounters, then the reconciliation of Legacy, and finally his coming to help you in the climax. I didn't realise that Legacy also changed based ion the relationship.
