Hi everyone,

After experiencing some freezing issues with DA:O for the 360, I'm debating if I should swap it for the PS3 version. Does the game seem more stable for the PS3 or are there similar game-breaking issues (ie: money/crystal glitch, etc).

Thanks in advance...

ive literally had one freeze for my 40+ hours of gameplay(and near the end of that 40 as well) and my brother hasnt had any either. Im pretty sure all of the glitches are almost uniform across all 3 platforms

Thanks for the reply, MetalViking. May I ask what freezing issues you had?

I've played through the Broken Circle quest at least a dozen times, trying to get past the loading screen right before exiting the raw Fade. I hate that Sloth demon soooooo muccch...

no freezing here either but I should tell u the framerate is not as stable as on the 360 though it really don't bothers me.

The first hour or so of the game is alot more choppy than after the games "opens" up and let you run around and go where you like.. I don't know what BioWare has made for the beginning of the game

I've played for a couple of weeks and I've only had 3 minor problems on the PS3:

1. I had a "freeze" at some dialog in the swamp at the witches hut. I hit the "red square" button and and it continued fine.

2. I opened the radial menu with the left trigger and it slipped out of my finger. This caused the game to unpause while the radial menu was up and pause when the radial menu was off. I was able to open the game options and toggle the radial menu choices there and it corrected this problem.

3. The progress data for the Social site dose not update any more for me. It worked great for the first week and now I haven't had an update to the social.bioware.com site in 7 days now.

I really haven't had any other issuses. Framerate looks good too.

I bought both, the PS3 is inferior. the frame rate is very jarring when you've been playing the 360 version for a while. I'd stick with the xbox given the choice.

yet someone wrote that this is not a problem according to BioWare.. I hope they know that the ps3 is fully capable of running just as smooth as a 360, if they don't know that.. they should take a look at some other games that runs silkysmooth.

I have the Ps3 one and I have player atleast 120 hours now and I have never had the game freeze, though one time at the clip scene for the ritual to become a gray warden I skipped it and it took 5 minutes to load, and the only glitch I saw was once in the forest when the white wolf jumps at you I got pushed in to liliania how ever her name is spelled and my dual weild guy had a bow glitched too my back with my swords equip or not.

the frame rate in game is fine not that bothers me though some parts of the first clip scene are real choppy.

the problem is this. the ps3 has superior GPU and CPU to the 360... so BW coded the PS3 version to LOOK a LOT better than the 360. Unfortunately it looks too good and overpowers the PS3 and the performance goes to hell.

I only have it for the PC but I own a ps3 and a 360. From what I have read it doesn't look as good on the 360 but plays FARRRR better
