The quick wits and tactial genius of the Systems alliance Admirals will fend the Reapers off until Shepard can take the knockout blow!

A few of the best

Rear Admiral Mikhailovich is a Systems Alliance Admiral serving in the Fifth Fleet; specifically, he commands the 63rd Scout Flotilla. The Normandy was to join his floatilla after the  shakedown cruise. He warned us of aliens getting their grubby hands on our ship and tech, you see any humans on Asari/Turian Vessels. Hopefully this will not backfire on Shepard. Hope to see the good Admiral return in me3.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Admiral Tadius Ahern  is a Systems Alliance officer who commands Pinnacle Station. He is also a veteran of the First Contact War, and consequently carries a grudge against turians. However, that does not prevent him from willingly training turian officers in combat scenarios aboard the station. Ahern will comment on Shepard's progress during the simulated missions, offering either encouragement or derision depending on the Commander's performance. In the apartment, a personal computer with a message meant for Ahern allows Shepard to order random, but sometimes extremely rare, weapons, armor or upgrades from three different price tiers from a local trade convoy.  He gave us a place and some sweet weapons so their is that

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rest in Peace :

Rear Admiral Kahoku is an Alliance officer, who fought with distinction against the batarians, earning the loyalty and respect of his men. His missing marines were lured to a thresher maw nest. As Shepard later learns, Kahoku then went to the Shadow Broker and purchased information that lead him to Cerberus; Kahoku manages to pass on the co-ordinates of Cerberus' facilities to Shepard, though Cerberus is already hunting him. After Shepard's squad raids the research facilities on Binthu, they find Kahoku's body, covered with needle marks, imprisoned with some of Cerberus' test subjects. They avenge him by launching an assault on Nepheron.  Kahoku was married and had three children.  He will be remembered.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Admiral Anderson

David Edward Anderson [/b]is a human war hero and the original captain of the SSV Normandy. He was born in 2137, in London, but has no discernible English accent. Anderson is one of the Alliance's most decorated special forces operatives, and the first to graduate from the N7 marine program at Arcturus Station, serving with honor in the First Contact War. He was to be the first sprectre but was sabotaged by the infamous Turian Saren Arterius. He is Shepard's mentor and biggest supporter and will be returning to help Shepard finish the fight started on Eden Prime

Admiral Hackett

Admiral Steven Hackett
is a top-ranking official of the Alliance Navy and commanding officer of the Fifth Fleet. He is based at Arcturus Station. On relatively equal political status with both Ambassador Udina and Captain Anderson, Hackett was one of the three officers who recommended Commander Shepard as the first human Spectre. During the mission to track down Saren Arterius, Hackett frequently contacts Shepard with key assignments, especially those vital to the Systems Alliance security, and is generally more accepting of Shepard's decisions than Udina.  He took Shepard's reccomendation during that battle of the citadel and vowed to support Shepard during his trial on homeworld

Anderson and Hackett are the only one who i respect (Kahoku too, but RIP). The rest of the admiralboard woulddo a political show with Shepard at the beginning of ME3, soI don't care too much for them (Hope they die).

Maybe we get lucky and he was on one of the ships that got destroyed by Sovereign during the battle of the Citadel.  That guy got on my nerves.  Insult the best ship in the fleet.

Bah... he was just jealous because Shepard is only a commander and he/she got the best ship, and he is an Admiral and has his wretched ass on a boring Alliance cruiser.

Maybe he has the same view on Spectres as Garrus' dad does.  We know Garrus' dad doesn't like Spectres.  He seemed very disrespectful towards the Council in general.

This guy can go jump in a Thresher Maw nest. chastising me on my choice of crew for a galaxy saving mission. I know it happens on your second visit to the citadel, but the first time i saw him was after Virmire (hadn't done Noveria yet) and then he got intimidated so hard by my *paragon* adept. I wanted to hit him with a singularity.Image IPB

You wanted to slap him around for being a practical man that wanted the best for the Alliance and didn't believe in throwing money at public relations/ooooh technology projects?

Just because he was a d*ck to you doesn't mean he's a bad man.

Also, remember that aliens are considered to be rival nations.  Even though we're not at war, it's still a bad idea to pass around military secrets.

It was funny pissing him off though.

Admiral Mikhailovich: Commander, I'm not happy.
Shepard: Seems like a fairly common situation.

The Normandy is partly based on turian designed and was co-oped by them.  He was being a douche about it.  He already had it in his head he was going to write a bad report.  Good Admrials don't do that.

I felt he was a tool. Mostly because of his ignorance on the subject on the potential of SR frigates.

Rear Admiral Mikhailovich was abrasive and antagonistic towards Shepard, and he was wrong about both the usefulness of the Normandy and the trustworhiness of the alien crew. But that doesn't necessarily make him a bad Admiral. To err is human. How many Admirals at the start of World War Two for example, including ones who would later be lauded for the leadership abilities, thought the battleship was more important than the carrier?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has butted heads with a boss over issue they were dead wrong on, but otherwise thought they were competent.

If Mikhailovich does return to ME3 I hope it is doing something heroic or in an inspiring display of leadership. Complex characters are more fun than one dimensional ones.

Having a report already in a bosses head before actually knowing about is a sign of a bad leader.  They do not know the facts and already think they know.  It's bad.

He will have to prove to me he is a good leader, because right now, I wouldn't follow that guy to water.

He's convinced that the Normandy is waste of the Alliance resources and has a very limited utility in a battle, especially considering its cost. There of course, he's wrong.

But again, how many Admirals who were later lauded for the leadership ability during the Second World War, thought during the 1930s that the battleship was more important than the carrier?

We haven't really seen enough of the character to truly evaluate his leadership abilities, one way or the other. Just because he's mean to Shepard, doesn't mean he's incompetent.

Personally if he does return (doubtful), I hope it would be doing something heroic or with a reappraisal of the Normandy's abilities. That would be more fun than just having a sort of one note character.

This. Alliance officials aren't nearly as bad as they're made out to be. Perspective counts.

You justs proved my point.  He already has a preconcieved notion that it's bad without knowing anything about it.  That is a sign to me of a bad leader.

I going to use some of the interviews from the actuall members of the 101st Airborne from Band Of Brothers.  Many said that would not follow some of their officers to water because they didn't lead for crap.  This is how I feel about this guy.

Why are all the Alliance admirals men, anyways? The quarians seem to be fine with female admirals.
