[Arbor of the Woods]

I'm playing BG1 Tutu.  I've gone through Beregost already and done the Nashkel mines.  Quested around a little.  Now I'm on my way to Beregost to take care of Tranzig.
Except I cannot get into Beregost.  I've tried coming in from different areas: the temple, the southern area, Highcliff, northern area, etc.  Every time I try to enter I get the autosave then black screen.  I tried the Beregost Bug Fixer but it claims my BALDUR.SAV is invalid.  I'm running windows 7 if that helps any.

Looks like a corrupted save. Try another saved game, if available. If not, try using the console to enter Beregost. Here are the Tutu area codes: http://forums.gibber...showtopic=8812.

Hopefully you haven't installed the game in Program Files. That can lead to all sorts of weird problems with Windows 7.

It's a very infamous bug, that has been haunting the Tutu community, modders and users alike, for years. Two years ago it was discovered the bug had to do with one of the doors in Beregost and it was solved by a Tutu hotfix which closes the door permanently, but it only works on a game if you haven't entered Beregost yet, as the bug gets stored in the save-games once you've entered Beregost.

For future Tutu installs: don't just install outside the Program Files folder in Windows 7 or Vista, but for any system, apply the hotfix found on the Tutu page: http://usoutpost31.com/easytutu/.
