and the initial dialogue thus far has been well worth the wait, some of his metaphors just make me bust out laughing.

Can't believe I was going to opt not romancing him with my FemShep due to being a guy, I now realize I can appreciate it regardless.

I know, not much of a thread, but I just wanted to share my excitement :)

Love your honesty about being a guy playing femshep, to many guys are just to uptight to admit this kind of thing. This is the spirit and appeal of mass effect. Hope there are more of you out there. :-)

Well I will say this for FemShep, the voice work is much better than MaleShep, in my opinion.

I only played maleshep once in me1 and i didn't mind him. He seemed to be what i expected as a soldier with a lot of paragon ( i admit...very shallow at that point ). Then i discovered femshep and never looked back ( shallow again...i really should give maleshep another chance ) but jennifer hale's voice is so much fun. Funny really, or odd if you will...with all the star studded cast for many other characters you would have thought by now they would have cast a really good voice over for maleshep....or maybe not since apparently me3 is shepards last adventure...who knows where it all leads.

I admit I've only made one MaleShep. I liked his looks I made for him but halfway through ME1 I realized he was the identical copy of one of my army time superiors, a lieutenant notorious for overcomplicated training which led to bad results and overtime. I became so fixated with the image of him saving the galaxy that I just couldn't play it anymore!

I also prefer FemShep's voice oh so much.

Thankfully the only thing that hangs on my life was my trigger finger. Was at the helm of a tank gun y'know. And thankfully my trigger finger is legendarily quick, or so my superiors said. "Never seen someone shoot first that fast" a master sergeant said.

Anyway, I'm surprised to see not many guys admit they play femsheps. I do and I'm proud of it. Maybe a difference is that I don't spam the boards with their images and drool over them.
Other than that I've been tempted to romance Garrus but 1) I like Liara's personality more 2) Girl on Girl is Hot 3) I like ME1's romance more (and hell, the whole game) 4) Too much calibrating with Garrus - I estimate he has not much romance dialogue unlike other LI's.

Did romance kaiden, liara, thane and garrus. Not much of a fan of jacks, might let my next maleshep romance miranda. The one i just can't stand is jacob. Garrus did make me laugh. Unfortunately once you romance someone the dialogue shrivels and dries up. And yes, i felt me1 had more soul in many ways ( and yes, i have some fotos of my femshep...guilty as hell, sorry). :-)

So do I have a "photo" of my FemShep. One only though. Posted it in the FemShep thread as I thought it was about people evaluating others' characters. Instead it turned out to be a droolfest where the same guys post hordes of pictures of their generic ladies and ignore others.

I'm quite positive I prefer ME1's atmosphere and that includes romances. It's the blue hue I think. Everything feels new, there's a lot of mystique. And then this blue skinned space babe wants to shag your female character. What's not to like? I hold ME2 in high regard - not least of beautiful graphics - but it just doesn't have the same feeling IMO. The romances in ME1 are much better written, especially the almost-kiss during Normandy lockdown.

Have to say I've only romanced Kaidan, Ash, Liara and Jacob. Liara the most, as indicated by my sig.

@sambshep Congratulations! Garrus' romance is funny and moving -- well worth the risk of anaphylaxis in my book. "There's no one in the galaxy I respect more than you, Shepard" -- who wouldn't find that attractive?

@Hallusinaatti Nice FemShep!

I thought most people who played FemShep were male? (me included)
Isn't Garrus awesome though ^_^, especially that scene in the bedroom when he quietly mumbles "help me out here Sherpard" :P

My friends may mock me for finding the Garrus/FemShep bedroom scene rather touching but screw them (apparantly it makes me gay?) ^_^

Last time I checked, heterosexual relationships, virtual or not, didn't make one homosexual. But then again I'd say same applies to Girl on Girl Is Hot, if we are talking about males at least.
