1. I take the in-game snapshot
2. Open the screenshot and converted to JPEG
3. Upload to my album
4. Try to paste it adding the tags [*img*] before and%20before%20and%20 [*/img*] after the link
I'm pretty sure these steps are right but I can't get it to work. I tried here in my previous reply to no avail.

Why resize them though.
I would guess it's a courtesy to others on the forum.
If the images are uploaded at e.g. 1280x1024 everyone reading the post gets to suck down all those bits even if the forum sets a maximum size of 400x400 on the displayed image. That's an awful lot of wasted bandwidth.
Also, if you downsize 1280x1024 (for example) to whatever the forum image max display size is, you do tend to end up with useless images (unreadable text, hard to see any detail whatsoever, etc.).
That's why I just link to original size images instead of having them inline.

You took that question out of context. I didn't mean "Why make them smaller", but "Why do you need to make them bigger?"AnonymousHero wrote...

You should have a "ScrnShot" folder in your installation folder. Whenever you press the Print button for a screenshot, another one in original size should be created in there, albeit as a bitmap, so some coversion is in order before uploading.C Barchuk wrote...
I'm running at 1366x768. I'm getting ready to try a no-reload challenge myself and just noticed that everyone's screenshots are nice and big and I want mine to be the same.

Make sure you select the "optimise but dont resize" option before you click upload. And then use the forum thumbnails link that the site provides.

EDIT: Yep, your right anything beyond 800x600 is getting resized once I posted here. Well man, how do you get your character sheet shot to be so big?

You can think of the resolution setting as being like a zoom.
Best,
