Elemental damage bypasses stoneskins right? But there is a physical component to most (elemental arrows are not covered by this I guess) weapons' damage too, so do you still remove a stoneskin whilst dealing the elemental damage?

I doubt it. If elemental damage did remove a skin then spells should work for that purpose too. In my experience a flame arrow or fireball won't do that.

Every succesful non-magical attack removes 1 stoneskin. That includes stuff like the Flail of Ages, which does 1-5 types of elemental damage beside, and the Melf's Minute Meteors, which are magically created missiles. It does not include Flame Arrows or Magic Missiles, no matter what kind of damage they deal.

Thanks, so weapons with elemental damage really are the bane of mages! You eat a stoneskin up whilst still disrupting with the elemental damage!
Now, a normal weapon imbued with some sort of fire/ice damage would be even better right? At least for me these days; with SCSII always being a part of my install and the subsequent love enemy mages have for PfMW (speaking of which, isn't there a long sword with fire damage that is in fact a normal weapon? Thought Bernard had one or something....or perhaps adventurer's mart, they have the same icon but one is non-enchanted I think?)

You could try Flame Blade. In theory, at least, it should count as a non-magical, elemental weapon.
Although, the newer SCS versions seem to use the various Mantle spells more.

Flame arrows do remove stoneskins, because part of the damage is piercing, only 1 stoneskin is removed per use of this spell however, because all the damage is resolved simultaneously.
Other spells which are blocked by stoneskin: Blade Barrier, Earthquake (not the knockout effect though), Implosion (only half of the damage), Bigby's Hand (either).

What about elemental arrows; arrows of fire/ice/acid etc, they only have a non-physical component iirc hence will not remove any skins right?

Elemental arrows all have a physical component in addition to the elemental damage.

I guess idrc would be the correct term then...
Actually, I think it's item revisions that, at least for acid arrows, does just elemental? Anyhow, ignore that comment as far as vanilla is concerned.

The Item Revisions Acid Arrow +1 deals physical damage, too.
