Ok I am trying to do a playthrough with no romances to stay true to Liara for ME 3 however I did flirt with Kelly and reach the point of dinner will that screw that up?

Main reason I ask is because Kasumi mentions a relationship.

She doesn't count towards the "Paragon" Achievement, nor have you mentioned anything about her inviting you to dinner, so like I said;

I hope so however I did have dinner with her (1st time) and Kasumi says we're in a relationship. I don't want to mess up the Liara thing. So my guess is I just decline her invite after the suicide mission right?

Kelly is a potential romance option for both male and female Shepard, though romancing her does not grant the Paramour achievement nor affects any relationship Shepard might have, whether it is with their current squad member or love interest from the first Mass Effect.

There, directly from the wiki, you can do whatever you want with yher, it shouldn't affect anything, not even a reaction from Liara.

Have you been flirting with her the whole time? The dialogue for the dinner is the same but my understanding is that the implication of whether it was platonic or not was dependent on if you're flirting with her or not.

huh? you don't want to mess up 'the Liara thing'? what do you mean? you mean you don't want her to find out your Shep was an unfaithful douche?
the fact that you've got to the point where you've already had dinner and Kasumi does her relationship speal says that you took all the obvious flirting options with her dialogue over the sensible, informative ones.
if you didn't want to mess up 'the liara thing' then why didn't you think with your head and not your dick when talking to Kelly? so you tell me, what is it you're after? a clean pass to screw Kelly and get away with it?

But d1sciple's right man; what did you want? A comfortable Liaramance, and a little "Teehee, oh Commander." skirt chasing on the side?

Although to be fair, Liara doesn't seem all that choked up about it, if you do Lair after the Suicide Mission, you can reignite your romance regardless of whether or not you cheated on her. Now, what that does for ME3? Can't wait to find out.

Sorry but in ME3 it is revealed that you got Kelly pregnant when you had "dinner" with her. That will mess with any LI in that game.*



*yes that is mainly supposed to be a joke.  I would not worry about the Kelly fling as much as completing the LI path with one of the real romancable ME2 characters.
