Why are people so obsessed over in-game relationships? Have you people actually had an actual relationship?

True. I remember M. Laidlaw saying something along the lines of DA2 already had everything he wanted to keep from DA1. Hopefully he's changed his mind.

Yup:
"I think the big key is to not adjust 180 degrees again, because we've  done this. I think, as a team, we're quite happy with what we've done  with Dragon Age II, and this is establishing a solid foundation that  keeps a lot, in fact almost everything I want to keep about Origins, but still has tons of room to grow and, frankly, a more viable future for  the franchise."

When was that written?

ETA: Before release from the look of it, I think more recent statements might be more accurate.

No, they're gay. Haven't you been paying attention to what agenda BioWare have been pushing?

Lets put it this way, Bioware.

The repetitive environments and the lack of scale was NOT the biggest issue of DA2.

Something tells me that this is what Bioware thinks Origin fans want and that's it. I certainly hope that Bioware can see past that and not just resort to the same old, same old like a cliched "hero saves world" plotline and C&C that doesn't matter.

I don't want it to be a marriage... I want it to be a sexy one night stand.

Surely, they're both bi? Just so they can have one hour stands with sexy DLCs of the opposite sex.

But the question is, will they use a Condom?

Origins is the shy quiet one with a hidden kinky side, while II has Mommy issues and wants to be the center of attention. Darkspawn Chronicles is the nonconformist who bosses around the Feastday Pranks and Gifts.

Well, the choice of metaphors in the headlines of articles that came out over a month ago is Serious Business on the BSN.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go on and give us the worst of both games because EVERY time they say something like best and cool it turns out to be the contrary so this time i will wait and see.

Well I have to say I liked the storyline direction and dialog wheel and companion system in DA 2 a lot more. I also hope they make DA 3's combat faster than DAO but not as ridiculous and fast as DA 2's, and with not as many enemies. Also make it so the enemies aren't mixed full of meatshields that take forever to kill and weaklings that go down really quickly...

I hope this marriage is a marriage where DAO gets to the dominant overbearing husband though...

I see more PR talk and nothing else. DA3 has nothing to talk about right now since it isn't even announced and we know nothing of it.

This is just placating, even if he means it. They put stuff like this out there to make people feel better about a product. Ignore this as you see fit since gameplay footage will be the first real look at a third game we'll get. You can make informed opinions then.

It honestly doesn't matter as long as BioWare keeps up this increasingly antagonizing way of milking their consumers while doing absolutely nothing beyond the bare minimum to fix their sloppily created game. Unless the corporate attitude over at EAWare changes dramatically there is no hope of Dragon Age III being an improvement on the formula.

Dragon Age II isn't primarily a bad game because of its design even if that design is highly questionable. It's a bad game because of how and why it was designed. As a game it was created for all the wrong reasons. Dragon Age III appears to be a continuation of this with a little bit more community appeasement.

So they're re-releasing DA2?
