Stop trolling and personally attack people. We all know the smartes one is Mordin anyways ^_^

There's a lot of comics for adults today, and aside from being good entertainment they're also good for studying language. I read a lot of chinese comics as it help me increase my vocabylary, grammar and I also learn some slang from some of them (and that's putting the historical value in some of them aside). I just think it's too bad with all the generalizations and one-liners in today's comics... Read one read 'em all... Kind of.

Edit: and reading Quole's post again it can be interpreted a s/he admits to a lack of intelligence. Nice to meet someone like me for once Image IPB

Speak for yourself. Just because you, Quole, don't enjoy something doesn't mean it's idiot material.
Love the immaturity in these forums.

The fact that they released a badly done ME intro for PS3 people who bought ME 2 was disgusting. There, i said it.  They left out many key points that should have been in. That is not a good way to introduce someone to the second game in the series.

If there will be a similar comic in ME 3, i hope they take their time to make it good, and make up for the junk the ME 1 comic is. It should not be about the drawers and artists to show off, not to make it as short as possible. Either make it good or don't do it at all.

So in other words:...

Chris Priestly wrote...

Mac Walters, writer for the Mass Effect games and the Mass Effect comics, has written a blog for Dark Horse Comics on why you don't have to play teh video games in order to enjoy the movies. Now, I know almost everyone here has played at least one of the Mass Effect games, but Mac makes some good points on why you don't have to have played the games in order to enjoy the movies.

You can read Mac's blog over at Dark Horse Comics

I'm smarter than you are apparently.

This is what I mean. Only idiots enjoy them.

And I've met people who say the same thing about people who enjoy any genre of video games and we both know that isn't true.

I'm not enthralled in the house, not by the comics. It's all about the Mass Effect games for me.

Wait.

It's the other way around right? Please tell me it's the other way around, because those comics gave me several heart attacks, three forms of cancer and several strains of the Ebola virus.

They are trying too hard to make Mass Effect accessible to the noob type audience. I honestly feel that embracing the HARDCORE mass effect fan is the way to go. Stop dumbing down the universe

Considering the scope of the ME universe, it should be a novel written by Alastair Reynolds. But that's something that may happened in a paralell universe.

Mass Effect Redemption was a pretty decent comic book.............if you LOVED the Mass Effect VIDEOGAMES,

Even then, there's plenty of people who hated it.

That said, I wonder how much MJ is smoking when he says such things.

I think this is whole thing is all the cash effect. BiowarEA already took the game to the casual shooter inclined no time for RP crowd. Now they are even after the non-gamers with the game content. Next step "Redsand brand crack cocaine" Then they will own everyone.

I don't read comics. It feels like a waste of the IP in the series that's already making the off scenes in between more useless or stupid then SW's EU has done. Especially your novels.

Jeeez... how can anyone possibly think that these comics are "enthralling".
They are NOT EVEN good fillers for the game because they are shallow, over-the-top and childish. They have nothing to add to the rich and mature universe Drew and the original crew invisioned.

I'm really unhappy that a person is the lead writer for this wonderful universe who thinks that these comics are a valuable contribution.

And if he's responsible for plastic breather masks in space i shall shake another angry fist at him ;) (i somehow have the feling that he might support such abominations)

But anyhow, that shall no diminish my enjoyment of the game.

Mac... Bioware...

Why are you trying to sell us more on the Mass Effect franchise when @MassEffect tweets indicate you are not listening to the playerbase re: these ME3 ending revisions?.
If you want our support for the franchise going forwards, for all things including comic fiction - do not go this quick 'n' easy 'clarification and closure' route, I implore you.

Bioware, fullfill your ME3 pre-release promises, then we'll talk further support for the franchise.

I'll give the comics a whirl, just one question. What page should I stop reading on so Mac Walter's can't ruin the ending for me.

Sorry I don't read books or comics about games I play.I read the book for BG 1 and Star Wars book.I wanted to hurt myself.Oh wait I did by reading them.Wicked Wanda's House of Whips and Chains would be less painful.
