I have lost the books with the key. Is there a way i can retrieve these keys.

If you've already registered them in Origin, it should have a record. If you've already registered them on this site (which you have for DAII, at least) it should have a record.

When you start the game (either one), choose "Configure", then "Game" from the menu on the left.
Your CD-key will be displayed in the data window on the right.
